That's a real hard decision when I think about it hard enough but to be honest I love Empire strikes back. You figure out Darth Vadar is Lukes father he get's a new hand Luke learn's how to use the force and get's to all kinds of revelations eg the one in the cave. I'm not saying the Jedi didn't have it's uppers to I mean Evil is vanquished and the balance to the force has been made as well as Luke becoming a Jedi master and Slaying that rancor.
The second death star was already completed, it had a fully functional planet destroyer death ray or whatever. And why did Randall say it was blasphemy that Dante likes Empire more than Jedi? Empire is clearly the better of the two and arguably the best of the original trilogy. I'm not saying I didn't like Jedi, but there were some glaring story and design decisions that held it back. Not that anyone is asking, but I just watched them today and I'm all riled up about it
@GVilleAnarcho The second Death Star was basically fully operational, but it was not completed at all. There was still a good deal of exterior work being done on it, hence the reason why there was most likely independant contractors on it during its destrucion
And Randall said "Blasphemy" because he prefers Jedi. I personally think Empire is the greatest movie ever made, but goddamn I love Randall Graves :D

@JesterHopperpot1 Yeah, I just can't imagine that he would prefer Jedi. Cause, c'mon, you're definitely right about Empire. Randall just feels the plight of the working man, I guess
@burlearth It's no more dated now then it was when this came out. Clerks came out in 1994, even then it wasn't like Star Wars came out the week before! References to a classic film will never be dated to film buffs or nerds which is the main audience that portion was aimed at I'd say.
@IBelieveinDayDreams It becomes dated after everyone's done it to death as has happened with Star Wars references which has diminished whatever pop culture SW references Clerks has to offer.
@electrohacker 'Star Wars' is not all one word and sentences begin with capital letters. Oh the irony of being called a 'retard' by the less fortunate.
@electrohacker You're 'good' at generalising, I never knew disliking references to Star Wars was an arbiter of film taste? Hmm…details aren't your thing.
@electrohacker ^This coming from an '18' year old and one of the XBox generation. Get yourself an education son, you weren't even born when the original Star Wars referenced was out.
@burlearth why? because people dont own houses with roofs? because the original star wars trilogy wasnt one of the best trilogies of all time? because people dont ask stoner questions anymore? because people dont work and or shop at small convenience stores? am I missing something here?
@JesterHopperpot1 - Yeah I do really like Mallrats, I got a kick out of Ethan Suplee character Willam when he was trying to see the sailboat in the 3-D image but couldn’t, super funny, I actually never saw any pictures from those things either, guess I am visionally inapt ……heheheheh

How dated and boring this scene is now.

@burlearth I wouldn't say so, the dialogue is still pretty fresh, and the scene still holds up very well to this day

@electrohacker Sore loser. I wouldn't call your 'retard' comment in any way a 'real' argument or retort so don't flatter yourself with delusions.

@burlearth and @electrohacker Look, if you two want to continue having e-sex, could you do so on your channel instead of my video?
Good film tastes are completely subjective, but yes, the scene is not dated. Now can we please stop this? It's getting annoying

Clerks (1994) was great, but I did not enjoy the sequel, although Kevin Smith ROCKS!

@SLSwriter I loved Clerks 2, but I still think you can't beat the origional Clerks. And yeah, Kevin Smith kicks ass. Who doesn't love Mallrats?
