  • looks like a toy rc car :p

  • where can you buy these

  • my gsxr 1000 dont run through the gears that fast on a dyno wtf is that

  • how can it be so fast? Is it a double clutch ?

  • dam change gears qik ??

    ummmmmm DEAR SANTA

  • @Maximusfool no get that right mate the english ARE THE BEST PERFORMANCE ENGINERS IN THE WORLD

  • damn your exhaust is siiick!!!!

  • Nice, my Ultma has an Srt-10 engine in it and it's not bad. I don't think It will ever shit as fast, however.

  • @Laitharex pics or it didn't happen

  • Holy crap! That shifter setup is ridiculously fast man! Awesome!

  • I love dyno runs with no dyno results.

  • thats what i call fast shifting

  • The fast speed of the tranny is amazing. What did it pull on the dyno and what rpm ? Is there any track video's ?

  • looks like a batmobile prototype in testing lol

  • Boy....Wouldn't that suck if them trailer straps broke off.

  • horsepower?

  • I just came in my pannies!!!!!!!!!!

  • USA WINS IN ACCELERATION (top fuel). F1 IN THE TURNS! GOT TO ADMIT WHEN NASCAR RAN ON REAL RACE TRACKS back in day THEY HAULED ASS AND TORE THEM UP!

  • holy shit thats quick shifting

  • show the dyno results

  • I also do not understand the muffler setup. Looks strange.

  • ughh those mufflers are ugly

  • @xFReSHeReST you cant se the mufflers when the rear body is on

  • @tristianck obviously but theyre riceburner mufflers

  • Outstanding!

  • This video doesnt do much justice... bad audio.

  • EXCUSE ME WHAT SIZE OF REAR TIRES ARE? 345 RIGHT?

  • No, English.

  • You can say whatever you like, but the fact Is we make the fastest cars, and you don't.

  • @JoelRegP u must b japanese if u make fast cars

  • ye watevr go have a cuppa tea or somethink.. u stupid pomie..

  • @Maximusfool I agree with you that English engineering is great and I'm also a huge F1 fan for 35 years now. But also understand that the USA does some of the best engineering on the planet and I'm sure you would agree with that, after all these Ultima and many other British cars use American GM engines....

  • lol why r u so agressive wen i say england sucks at engineering ?? mayb because i am an engineer.. n ur calling me a kid?? oO think u might need a reality check buddy...

  • sick gearbox

  • i just had a crisis

  • Good vid! Straps were a little loose on the dyno though... Car looks pretty sick! Almost makes me want to get 1. There are a lot of people posting that shouldn't post anything! The simple fact is they know nothing about automotvie industry. (yes I'm certified auto tech with a degree specialized tech for automotive. Plus chassis fabricator and high performance engine building and tuning.)

  • @Maximusfool LOL u pomie's think ur gd but ur not... u have shit everythink only thing ur gd at is makin a cuppa tea while in ur naval yard.. btw the engineering does suk.. usa has the best in the world lol @ half the motorworld ovr there since when do i see gd motorsport teams in pomie land?? LOL fuk off u piece of shit

  • @xXTURBOZDXx Man You are an ignorant turd. Since you can't even write what the fuck do you know about racing or engineering. How many F1 teams are in the US sonny. Zero. Just shut the fuck up when you know shit and leave the conversations to the adults.

  • First car engine that can use jet engine as exhaust :D

  • HOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • smokess!!!

  • just what the ultima needed!

  • My ultimate goal is to build one of these when I settle down. I've seen MANY of these online, with many different sounds and motors. This is by far the best sounding Ultima I've seen, and being a Formula 1 fanatic, the idea of having paddle shifters ... Oh yeah. Too bad it's so expensive. Did you have the F1-style gearbox installed after the build was complete? Or did you install it as you were building the thing. I just have to know...

  • Sorry for late reply. always busy. it ran originally through porche box but that could'nt handle the power. the gearbox is a hewland gear box with a very clever air piston change system, saves about a half second every change. The car is now in the hands of someone else now, but is looked after by a company called Rapidgb in Wellingborough in England. So if you have a other questions just give them a call.

    bye

  • @crocky1966 oO nice but made in englland worse place to get something made the enginneering suks ovr there!!

  • @xXTURBOZDXx The workmanship does suck in englland but in England where this is built its first class thats why the top F1 teams not only build thier cars there but purchase most of the parts from British manufacturers. Don't comment on things you know F##K ALL about.

  • @phgt40 Many carbon parts and the brakes are made in the USA. After all the American invented carbon fiber and produce most of the worlds supply still and probably always will. F1 baby!!!!! Love it

  • @alloutperformance they maybe made in the u.s but the english invented carbon fibre.

  • @v6hot Um, No they did not. They refined it. Actually it was originally tried here in the States by Union Carbide in Cleveland, Ohio in the late 50's. But it didn't do so well because it contained only about 20% carbon. Then a Japanese fellow developed a better version but it only was about 55% carbon. Then the Brits refined it and got the patent on it in 1963 or something. They didn't invent it, just made it better and got the patent first. That sir, is not "inventing".

  • @spoonDRT 7.Faster racing cars - Carbon fibre was invented by the British in the 1960s (at the Royal Aircraft Establishment, Farnborough), but was given a boost by its use in space flight. Carbon-fibre-reinforced graphite is used in the nose cone of the Space Shuttle. Strong, light and heat resistant, it is found in everything from tennis rackets to Formula One racing cars

  • @xXTURBOZDXx Twat.

  • Hewland makes sequential racing transmissions (very nice and VERY pricey, straight back on the lever and the tranny shifts up), some guys who do hillclimbs and rally racing have pneumatic systems run by the paddles that shift the sequential transmission mechanically through the pneumatic systems. i'd guess this is what hes using.

  • oh, nvm, OP posted up.

  • There is lot's of engines that can fit in the bay, but I want to know which is the best for it!

  • i guess its kind of depends what u want to do with it in the end. Hopefully more than just drags or what not, beautifully made cars.

  • Those are some FAT rear tires. Ultima GTR is my fav car of all time from any manufacturer. You can get a ridiculous supercar that looks like it came straight off of lemans for under $100K.

  • $100k ASSEMBLED. Assemble it yourself and it'll be just over $20k. There is absolutely no way you can beat that... Quickest production/kit car.

  • Just over $20K? Where did you get that from. It comes as chase & body panels with 100's of boxed parts in the shipping container nearest port of destination. That's after you paid $65,000 shipping included. No motor no transmission. The rest is up to you & your wallet. Just to give you and Idea the motor in my race car is $25K just for a motor. If you were to build the lowest budget Ultima GTR you would spend just over 80K & your own labor. And it's worth it I got to race one with LS1 years ago.

  • @nspinicelli

70k without engineand gearbox not sure where you got your figures?

  • Try ultimasports(dot)co(dot)uk

  • Hey... we've been talking about this car over on pistonheads. The Ultima guys want to know more about your car

  • What gearbox are you using? (model number)

How much does that box cost?

  • I can't recall the number sorry, I'll have a look next week, and I think it was somewhere near 15k

  • What engine are you using?

  • 6.3 LS1

  • N/A or force induction? are your using the paddle shifter without a clutch?

  • N/A and High pressure air shift system through a triple plate clutch

  • NICE
