Ryu wins, hands down. -Great utility -Extreme agility -Peak abilities -Ninpo -Legendary weapons -Defeated truly omnipotent beings. -Can stop time -Teleport The list goes on. Kratos is simply too slow, even with his god mode form, Ryu have still defeated larger fiends/dragons whatever. Also, I've played the God of War series, and I wasn't very impressed with his abilities and movesets. They are good games, and he can beat olympic gods, but if Ryu were in Kratos' game and otherwise. i love kratos, i remember pickin up the remote and playin god of war 1 for the first time, but no offense, ryu would kill him, he is just too fast and too dangerous. sure kratos is a god, no actually a demi god which is weaker. but ryu has already slayen things that are past god status. he killed a demon god that can actually manipulate reality (emperor vigoor when he turned a heavenly field of beauty into a hellish magma cave). kratos has more brute strength. but its gona take more than that.

I don't understand how everyone is raving and ranting about Ryu not being up on the par with gods. Do some research. He is a descendant of the dragon lineage. The dragon lineage are the descendants of the dragon gods or the Ancient Deites that controlled all of existance. Overtime the blood between the fiends and the ancient deites unwillingly merged forming the dragon lineage and ryu's clan. So he has a bit of hell and heaven in him
First Off Kratos is just as Badass as Ryu by alittle, Ryu though been Killing Gods since the first Ninja gaiden Game and Still does to this day although in his new Game Ryu will face More or else humans and wizards instead of Fiends. @Man1cmanMario my calcs for the boots came from hermes kick. which an injured hermes perfomed in the background lightning was moving just as fast so i belive kratos can atleast go as fast as an injured hermes if not faster seeing as his feet are burning up at such high speeds(like a meterite or rocket but hes going faster since hes not passing threw the ozone and still burnin) a peak hermes casual feat was in the novel he ran to and back to the herizon and back and filled six goblets instantly.

@Mrgendrons ll, yeah, you're definitely right about the durability...however Ryu's movement speed alone tends to reach into the high-end super/low-end hypersonic speed range (when he leaves after-images, as well as when he seems to have disappeared). His swing speed is MONSTROUSLY faster (this doesn't even have to be his fastest weapons to be true; those weapons being the tonfas). Kratos's lightning-timing RT and potential relativistic speed won't do him much against 3 Ryus.

His clones are proven by text to only "be harmeable" when he gets killed, at which point they go away (NGII:Dark Sword of Chaos manual). that said, they could shield Ryu whilst he singles out some souls to absorb them.

Hard to say. If Ryu could avoid Kratos' slow hitting attacks, it's his. But he better pray that Kratos' doesn't touch him, because Ryu could easily go down in 3 hits.

@mjdc2505 Not only speed. The clones Hayabusa can create are pretty uber powerful and know all the ninpo he does. And they can't die until he does (they are intangibles, hence their names "Phantom Doubles").
And the Enma's Fang and Dabilahro both weigh 100 pounds (Dabilahro's description states this, and Enma's Fang is actually even larger than Dabilahro), but look at how easily he can swing them.
And then there's the issue of the potential one-hit kill from Ryu's Unlabored Flawlessness....
@Man1cmanMario All those things maybe trye but still Kratos would kick Hayabusa's ass and because of his more powerful strength and incredible durability. Those are 2 of the 3 most important things needed in a fight. Hell Kratos had killed people more powerful and stronger than Hayabusa.
@mjdc2505 It's not a strength advantage if Ryu has UF. And Hayabusa has killed opponents stronger than himself as well. Even Zeus isn't as powerful as Vigoor. Nigh-omnipotence, Vigoor ACTUALLY HAS (contrary to what his 3 EEEEASY boss fights show; check NG's lore, and his pre-boss cutscene in NG Xbox shows the minimum to which his abilities go).
Not to mention Ryu can teleport, is prone to breaking out of many grabs, and is a flipping MASTER of stealth.
@Man1cmanMario Like I said before, Hayabusa is a great ninja and he is a worthy adversary to Kratos and probaly the only one that can keep up and put up a great fight with Kratos. I didn't have to down talk Hayabusa because he is amazing but the victory will still favor Kratos.

Nice vid but, why is Ryu constantly stabbed and knocked over..? Those Tonfa he wields are said to be too heavy for the greatest tonfa master besides himself. Also, in addition to immense strength he is extremelyfast as shown from several moves.
I don't think a "mere" demigod could stand up to the Ryu that slaughtered countless of demons and can wield as many weapons as he does. (I bet Kratos would've died from his ninpo alone ^^)

He was a threat to Gurdu, the CREATOR of the NG universe.

I don't understand how everyone is raving and ranting about Ryu not being up on the par with gods. Do some research. He is a descendant of the dragon lineage. The dragon lineage are the descendants of the dragon gods or the Ancient Deites that controlled all of existance. Overtime the blood between the fiends and the ancient deites unwillingly merged forming the dragon lineage and ryu's clan. So he has a bit of hell and heaven in him

@Man1cmanMario my calcs for the boots came from hermes kick. which an injured hermes perfomed in the background lightning was moving just as fast so i belive kratos can atleast go as fast as an injured hermes if not faster seeing as his feet are burning up at such high speeds(like a meterite or rocket but hes going faster since hes not passing threw the ozone and still burnin) a peak hermes casual feat was in the novel he ran to and back to the herizon and back and filled six goblets instantly.

@Mrgendrons ll, yeah, you're definitely right about the durability...however Ryu's movement speed alone tends to reach into the high-end super/low-end hypersonic speed range (when he leaves after-images, as well as when he seems to have disappeared). His swing speed is MONSTROUSLY faster (this doesn't even have to be his fastest weapons to be true; those weapons being the tonfas). Kratos's lightning-timing RT and potential relativistic speed won't do him much against 3 Ryus.

@Mrgendrons Huh...so they can both use extremely potent black holes...cool. I don't think he'd want to unleash those souls seeing as Ryu could suck 'em up for health with the Kitetsu. His clones are proven by text to only "be harmeable" when he gets killed, at which point they go away (NGII:Dark Sword of Chaos manual). that said, they could shield Ryu whilst he singles out some souls to absorb them.

@SSJavenger thats game-play. ryu to cant be killed by common enimes.....im going by a cannon feat show me a vid of ryu doing an attack thats well over 800 megatons of power. not to mention in gameplay kratos is nerfed in qte's his blades cut enimies even gods like butter but in gamplay you could stab a boss repeatedly and not have it lose limbs outside of qtes(untill gow 3 and gos) not to mention it has been shown kratos has impressive regen aswell like in gow gos and in the novel.

@mjdc2505 Not only speed. The clones Hayabusa can create are pretty uber powerful and know all the ninpo he does. And they can't die until he does (they are intangibles, hence their names "Phantom Doubles").
And the Enma's Fang and Dabilahro both weigh 100 pounds (Dabilahro's description states this, and Enma's Fang is actually even larger than Dabilahro), but look at how easily he can swing them.
And then there's the issue of the potential one-hit kill from Ryu's Unlabored Flawlessness....

@mjdc2505 It's not a strength advantage if Ryu has UF. And Hayabusa has killed opponents stronger than himself as well. Even Zeus isn't as powerful as Vigoor. Nigh-omnipotence, Vigoor ACTUALLY HAS (contrary to what his 3 EEEEASY boss fights show; check NG's lore, and his pre-boss cutscene in NG Xbox shows the minimum to which his abilities go).
Not to mention Ryu can teleport, is prone to breaking out of many grabs, and is a flipping MASTER of stealth.

Nice vid but, why is Ryu constantly stabbed and knocked over..? Those Tonfa he wields are said to be too heavy for the greatest tonfa master besides himself. Also, in addition to immense strength he is extremelyfast as shown from several moves.
I don't think a "mere" demigod could stand up to the Ryu that slaughtered countless of demons and can wield as many weapons as he does. (I bet Kratos would've died from his ninpo alone ^^)

I'm probably just as big a fan of Ryu (played every game except NGII 360/NGS2) and know that only like 2% of Ryu's ability is being shown, but just because of that you unsubbed AND disliked??? Would YOU have the patience to do this!? If not, you need to take into account the awesomness of Ryu that IS being shown. I don't even do this; I just machinimate and am learning how to animate in 3D, and THOSE are tedious! I couldn't even IMAGINE doing this!

felicito a quien hizo este video por su paciencia y meticulosidad, pero le recuerdo que Ryu Hayabusa es mucho más guerrero que Kratos por estas razones:
1)Ryu Hayabusa es el primer ninja en la historia de los videojuegos
2)todos los Ninja Gaiden son muy dificiles, no como los God Of War que son moonótonos y fáciles de jugar (los que hayan terminado Ninja Gaiden Black en Master NInja estarán de acuerdo)
3)Ninja Gaiden se sigue produciendo, mientras que God Of War ya murió como franquicia ^^
