I've just realised that Zant's skin is the same colour as Ghirahim's in Skyward Sword and that Nintendo mentioned the ginger haired kid at the beginning of Skyward Sword being of some importance. The ginger haired kid in Skyward Sword has the ginger hair going up, like Zant's, in the middle. He is also seen acting wild and unusual in Skyloft and is referred to as "boy" and told off all the time. Could he be that guy and be one of the interlopers? The nose is the same too.

Up until this point, Zant is badass, cool, epic, call it what you will. When he takes off his helmet, you're like "Oh, so that's what he looks like, cool." Then he begins to act like an insane three year old, and everything that made him seem to badass in the first place (the way he talked, the way he looked, the way he walked, etc) is suddenly gone. Man.

i always thought zant was cool. but when he went from being an all powerful, calm and collected villain to snapping and turning into a emotionally unstable maniac, oh man that just blew me away. most people didn't like the personality swap, but i actually thought it showed how human zant really was. at first you think he is above petty desires and greed, but when he goes insane you realize how desire can even infect anyone. i think the insanity makes zant alot more interesting and human like.
