@ISBOOST300 i have a original 3.3L NA angine so it has lower compression that the s/c. i have thicker head gaskets to support the 14 psi boost. been running it for 4 years now with not one problem. all the internals have been replaced with better aftermarket parts, not going to sit and list everything.

you are 100% correct, my truck wasnt born a s/c it was a normal desert runner 2wd sittin on the 4x4 frame, it was converted to 4wd and only came stock with a open rear end  that was upgraded , along with the supercharger added and engine gone full over

no its all pump gas 93 or higher.. the entire supercharger was gone throught and upgraded.. new high speed bearings, new compressor blades. etc. along with stage 2 reground cams. slightly lower compression pistons. all new bearings.. balanced crank. and redone CPU

This truck is impressive. I have an 03 with the 3.3 s/c (yes it is a sedan or crew cab). But I have not been impressed with the performance. I have a cold air intake mod, but it is poor on gas mileage and the performance is flat in the mid and high range. It runs much better when it is cold than when it is hot (running richer?). I get about 12 mpg if I drive like a grandma and it seems that I should get better performance of fuel mileage (one orother). What are the first changes to make?

I was about to get the KN velocity stack (cold air induction), ,doesn't that give you more bottom end, ease of acceleration without punching it? I use so much fucking gas in the stop/start traffic on the LA freeway. I was reading about Throttle Body spacers & how that is supposed to give you more air + up to 6 more mpg.
