  • Apparently, since Britt Allcroft had owned the models of the "TUGS" characters, she could have shot some of her own footage of the characters filmed specifically for the show, but then again at the time the show aired, she was busy with season 5 of Thomas and Friends and pre-production of Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

  • now if kids only knew this version of tugs. i wonder what they would would think if they saw the original. i mena seriously two of the characters are now girls

  • Lol, I started laughing when I herd Sunshine's voice. Not to put this show down or anything, but the original was a lot better....And Sunshine was a BOY. O_O

I kinda got used to TenCents' accent in the original, but in here, he sounds...well...normal. :D

Also, I'm still not used to Captain Star being a female here...^^; But, hey, at least it goes to show that women can do almost anything men can do. =3

  • i feel so old watching this

  • this is how i remember tugs

  • This looks really sucky compared to the original. :/

  • wtf this is funny as hell the original tv series was better

  • A really good episode for Salty's Lighthouse, the footage actually looked like it was made to represent the plotline.. unlike 'The Race'.

  • It's weird to see the Z-tugs as good guys!

  • The funny thing about all this is earthquakes can cause tsunamis and the tugs are in the water lol

  • narrated by a girl and Sunshine's a girl too? WHAT

  • Yes Captain Janeway... I mean Captain Star.... I'M CONFUSED!!!

  • fuckin point in this?

  • ok is this some type of joke i mean WTF

  • close your eyes from 2:09 - 2:26 that sounds abit wrong to me O_O...

  • @trainlover658 ha ha haha omg i see what you mean ha.

  • @trainlover658 Omg lol so wrong

  • @trainlover658 god thats nasty lol :)

  • @trainlover658 hahahahahaahhaahah OH MY GOD this is more profound than the orignal which was awesome good ear.

  • @trainlover658 HAHGHAHAGAGAGA

    HHHAAAAA

  • This is where I first saw Tugs. I didn't know there were any other episodes, until a little while ago. They are much better.

  • sooo......salty's lighthouse took the show and models because it wasnt being produced anymore by david, so then they wrote there new episodes, is that right? Crap, i saw salty's when i was young, wonder why they changed sunshine to a girl

  • @Deathsquad49 Probably because it's really not a boy's name lol

  • I have a disdain for these segments. They're cheap and disrespectful. I mean, they literally just shook the image to make it seem like a quake. Also, need I say again that the voice acting sucks, certain characters' genders are wrong, the stock footage doesn't mix very well, and the whole show got toned down to a little 5 year old show. It's sad the real show never got aired over here. I missed out on a good show.

  • On April 4th 2010, the 2010 Baja California earthquake took place, and tomorrow, April 9th will be the 10th anniversary Elwood elementary fire from Arthur, only 6 more days later, April 15th shall be the 98th anniversary of the Titanic tragedy.

  • Ok good things: good way of making an earthquake story and using destructional clips from other episodes, bad things: sunshine is a male tug not to mention top hat isn't that posh he may look it but he's not royal. The voices could of been better and the narration could be better but overall it was alright.

  • There should been a tidal wave after the earthquake.

  • Good!!!:)

  • I can identify Top Hat's voice actor as French Tickner. He does the voice for Watari in the english dub of Death Note

  • From what I know, it was Long John Baldry who voiced him. Just ask thebladezman.

  • That doesn't mean they don't change overtime. I've read stuff like "Zebedee was voiced by Scott McNeil and later Kirby Morrow"

  • I don't know that he is...... Even so, Zorran seems to be the one voiced by Long John Baldry. They said that it was Zorran and Zug who were later changed, but since it seems to be Baldry it may be wrong (I can positively identify McNeil as Zug). As for Zebedee, he was positively identified as being voiced by Ian James Corlett

  • Well, watch a clip of Watari in the english dub of Death Note and compare it to Top Hat's voice in this episode. And I thought Zorran sounded more like Scott McNeil TBH

  • @TenCents01 i think that was boomer

  • The Earthquake is so cute!

  • .....................

  • The Z Stacks and the Star Tugs working together? I'd never thought I'd see the day.

  • I've seen the day, years ago on TLC

  • @SodorProductions: I always liked this show. But I wondered why all these clips were so random, but now I know.

  • Well, this was an episode where they had no choice. Either work together or everyone dies.

  • Top Hat's tugging as usual, I see

  • ok how many earthquakes and aftershocks can there be in 5 minuits i ask you

just another atempet to take a kids classic and redub it american style

  • Uh...have you ever heard of time skips? Not everything is filmed at once.

  • You are back TUGSseries! YES! Thanks for the upload.

  • One of the more decent episodes. Actually a TUGS episode about an earthquake and after shock would've been an excellent idea full of drama and problems had it been done by David and the original crew. I could imagine Zorran using it to his advantage.

  • This was always my favorite Salty's Lighthouse episode. EARTHQUAKE!!!!!

  • Ill be sure to upload more clips for you and give you the TUGS Segments...

  • I remembered seeing this, I thought that was epic. Warrior sounds like Homer Simpson, I wonder who dubbed over his original voice? Thanks for uploading it, brings back my memories.

  • To me Warrior sounded a bit like Big the Cat from the Sonic video games. I've decided not to do a solo redub of this story as it was just an altered version of the rescue scene from Warrior.

  • The person who voiced Warrior was Michael Donovan, the same guy who did Wes Weasley's voice in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog!

  • @thebladezmanII: and Top Hat, along with Zorran, were voiced by Long John Baldry, also known as Dr. Ivo Robotnik.

  • Thats correct! I thought that Zorran was by Scott McNeil but after listening again, it really sounds like Robotnik!

  • It seems that quite a few Sonic VO Actors went on to Salty's Lighthouse.

  • As a matter of fact, this was the first SL TUGS episode I ever saw! THIS is how I learned about TUGS!

  • Wow, never thought I'd see any more Salty's lighthouse clips up here.
