She can't possibly have been dissing Meryl. If she had, Goddess of the Universe Meryl would have called down lightning from Heaven and destroyed her right there in the middle of the Kodak Theater. Since that clearly did not happen I think we can safely assume that no dissing occurred.
I think people forger that it is not only the acting performance but, how one transforms themselves into the character which Sandra Bullock did. As much as i did not want her to win, i had to remind myself of the transformation she went through especially from her usual performances.
