Thats the first thing you learn about the music scene... there is the old techniques the new techniques and a ton in-between... So who care? You come off sounds arrogant and jealous... Like as if its really a big deal anyways... anyone who has talent and wants to get better will regardless...

@murronius No, proper technique is not all based on opinion. Especially true for the Classical guitar genre, there IS a "standard" of correct technique that goes back at least 150 years. My comment was not about the "old techniques" vs the "new techniques." It was regarding the amount of "free lessons"(aka: crap) on the internet.

@murronius Also, "someone who has talent and wants to get better will regardless.." really only means they figure out their "own way" to do something; because if you have a 7 year old kid who is "talented" on the guitar and think he'll just get better regardless of the things he is learning... it's not gonna happen. There has to be some "beneficial" material/lessons/advice.

Pumping Nylon has helped me become a better guitarist for sure. I have referred to it for years on and off since it was published and still work with it . It solved many technical problems that I had aquired along the way. If you haven't got it, get it, you won't regret it .!!!
