  • thank you for wasting my time. any idiot can USE any of the tools in photoshop. why not tell us WHY you are "SLICING". you are an idiot.

  • @beauhawk09 Thanks for the awesome constructive criticism and the really nice comment. The idea of slicing an image is to prepare it for optimizing the image for faster load times on the Internet. Slicing the image by itself will not reduce the actual file size and make it load quicker, but optimizing it will.
