  • Leonardo is beautiful.

  • @Carpediem72398 Leo was about 20 when he did this and he reportts that he had to get really drunk to shoot the kissing scenes between him and David (thewlis)

  • see this movie in full at bclionsroar....

  • Leo used to say that this was his favorite movie. I agree that the film downplays Rimbaud's nastiness. The main problem for me was that both the main characters were creeps.

Once I got used to the idea that this was a tale of passionate love between two creeps, it became one of my favorite films. :-0

  • oh remus, why do you did this to me ? I love you

  • jdfbkebdfkhlebfbs rimbaud and verlaine are rolling in their graves, to know their relationship became subject for hollywood!!!!!!!! this film could never do them true justice... besides, it was their POETRY that mattered more than their affair, their brilliant (particularly rimbaud) imagery and manipulation of the french language... ah well. leo is cute.

  • what's the song ???

  • How old was leo here? He looks 12.

  • @BeanTheCoffee He was around 17 I think :P

  • Извините, конечно, но это полный ПИЗДЕЦ.....

Неужели ДиКаприо снимался в таком фильме?

  • Beauty and the Beast.

  • O_O Fuck, Leo was so fucking BEYOND beautiful when he was younger. My eyes are literally watering from staring at him

  • eeew, he's so old D:

  • WTF....THATS PROFESSOR LUPIN!! D:

  • I am glad Leo played the young Rimbaud in a movie while he was still the right age. A case of Fatal Attraction. Verlaine left his wife and family to run with this brilliant, blonde boy genius. ( Shades of Arthur Miller and Marilyn Monroe.) The movie sucks( the script doesn't reveal the slightest interest in the great and influential poetry of Rimbaud ) ... but Leo captures to perfection the hypnotic,vicious,self-destructive, romantic and rebellious poet.

  • @MsMrgrinch I disagree. Rimbaud was much more sour than Leo's portrayal. Friends of his describe him as always having a puss on his face, and despite looking very boyish he had a runty look about him. His poems are brilliant, he was very cerebral but so intense and extreme that he did reckless things and harmed a lot of people. Leo is too soft and pretty for Rimbaud, too sweet.

  • wah,.....strange to see professor lupin sleeping with Jack Dawson :D

  • WOW THAT WAS REALLY REALLY WEIRD

  • what the movie call? please someone.

  • @lee11676 Total Eclipse. It says in the discription.

  • @lee11676 total eclipse

  • haha, they made david look at least 20 years older than he actually was when this was made

  • When I heard Leo kissed a boy in a movie I was like... " that sounds pretty damn sexy... Im'a go check it out." I come here to find it being a fully grown man, and come on... he's not even cute let alone hot. I'm thoroughly disappointed to say at the least. :(

  • @MaddieRawr354 you suck.

  • @18rus Well that was mean, but okay. It's just my opinion, sorry that I offended you. Really I am....

  • hes the only man id compare to gaspard ulliel, i dont know who is more beautifull.

  • Leo is an amazing actor but this is an unrealistic movie, as Leo is a definite 10 and David is a 5 at most.

  • @caggierose

..... Well, I'm not sure what I should say. How can you say it's 'unrealistic' when it has actually happened? The real Paul was indeed older and uglier than Arthur. It's as real as it can get.

  • 0:33 - 0:38 love how David looks at Leo(his Body)

    Two great actors<3

  • omg this is fuckng hot!! <3 Leo was extremely handsome!! O: i cant believe such beauty exists..

  • ..and i watch the video again and again and again..

just to marvel at leos extraordinary acting skills and .. well, his fucking beautiful face :>

  • whats this song called?

  • @ma77ski3 The Used - Kissing You Goodbye

  • i wish leo could stay young forever, so he could be beautiful forever. and act forever.

  • its soo incredibly romantic... i always thot 2 guys kissing each other wud be something very disturbing for me to watch but u know wat... i dont think any female actor wudv been able to bring to love that kind of passion that these men do... god do they love acting.....

  • I never saw this movie before 0.0

  • A MOVING STORY,I LIKE THE SONG VERY MUCH

  • Léonardo Di Caprio, super acteur.

    Je ne suis pas homophobe.

Chacun est libre de choisir sa sexualité.

    Thanks.

    Natacha.

  • no offense... but d character has 2 played by that old actor?? why not by a younger cuteee like leo?? when he kissed leo... it was like he was raping leo's lips...:(

  • @naomee1

Because this isn't a freaking ''OMFG SO CUTE" movie for creepy fangirls. This is a serious piece of art where the story of two artists that have fallen in love is told. And because Paul WAS indeed older than Arthur, people aren't going to change facts only for little fangirls like you to be pleased. Arthur fell in love with Paul, old, alcoholic and broken. Not with some young, perky boy. Deal with it.

  • @LwillStrip4Cake Amen to that. Do people not research a movie before making dumb comments or what? Paul WAS in real life much older then Arthur but these fanfgirls don't seem to care all they want are "young hotties" cause you know gay men aren't old and are always attractive. *sighhh* Also David is an amazing actor!

  • @Veiledozify

I don't think most of them care about the story or the concept of the movie. Most of these girls only watch it hoping to see some guy on guy action with DiCaprio, which is honestly a shame. This was an amazing movie, I laughed, I cried, I've went a little crazier than before, but this was a masterpiece. And Paul's acting was breathtaking.

  • @Veiledozify

David* excuse me. I always confuse the actor with the character. (:

  • @LwillStrip4Cake okayyy i got ut point... thnxxx 4 xplaintion.. coz i havn't watched d movie yet!!! :D bt athing.. fangals r nt creepy at all.. after actors r famous coz .. there r d fangals like us..:P

  • @LwillStrip4Cake I love the concept, only strengthens gay romance and drama.

  • @SimplyMe1416

Yes. It shows more diversity and helps people understand that gay relationships aren't stereotypical or correctly represented by TV shows and other silly movies. I believe they did a very good job with this movie.

  • @LwillStrip4Cake I haven't yet seen the movie, I searched for it everywhere but I'm just gunna have to wait for it on netflix :/ very excited to see it! Looking at the trailer I noticed that Leo must have some sort of inner demons.........looks very interesting.

  • @SimplyMe1416 I got it from isohunt, but nobody's seeding currently. You could try.

It is indeed very interesting. I laughed till I cried and I cried till I laughed. Simply genius. And Leo proving that he's a really good actor. I loved both characters, a lot. Most people avoid it because some scenes can be shocking, disturbing and/or hard to understand. But in my opinion, it's a must see.

  • @LwillStrip4Cake Definitely. :)

  • @LwillStrip4Cake Quite well put...maybe couldn't have said it better-even though I have seen the movie, but I have experienced(seen and delat with) the same type of critique/

    attitude before.

  • why do oscar judge panel is so dumb & blind??? Leo knows oscar worthing acting. OOMMGGG? why he is so cuteeee??

  • Leonardo has to be the best actor in the world if he can play the gayest part in the movies. He is so devoted to his job. <3 Ugh too bad there will never be a chance for me to be with him, Oh well.

  • Great video. The best unofficial trailer I've ever seen. You've choosed a good song.

  • how is THIS disgusting? this is the freaking hottest thing EVER (atleast if ur a gurl and his fan :D) 1:09 I think i just blushed XD but i can't help wondering what it's been like making that film.. :'D Atleast this proves Leo can play ANY part! :D the one and only mr.GORGEOUS♥

  • wow! real live action american Yaoi! O///O

  • @samuelithomas trollolol..

  • @samuelithomas It wasn't about money, If you knew anything about him you'd know that'd he'd turn down disney movies for more challenging roles because he didn't want to go down the teenie-bopper path

  • I know that Leo is not that handsome anymore, many years had passed, and he's a human after all. But damn it, he was supernaturally beautiful. I've never seen a more beautifull boy in my life..NEVER.

  • @Lazzefire How could you say Leo is not that handsome anymore?!? I prefer him now because he looks like a man. But I guess its just perception of beauty (:

  • Comment removed

  • @Lazzefire i think he's still handsome, not so beautiful maybe anymore but still handsome :) annd YES, totally the most beautiful, gorgeous, cute, hot blablabla guy in the WORLD

  • @Lazzefire Right? He could melt people with those eyes and his hair is the best thing ever <3 I still like him now though

  • @koolaide77 you know what? In my college there is a guy who is SO FUCKING similar to Leo!!! He's got those amazing blue eyes, but I don't know anything about him, not even his name...that's why I call him "Leo"...hahaha I'm planning to say Hi to him and introduce myself...that boy's gonna be MINE. Kissing that boy will be the closest I'll ever be from kissing real Leo ahaha

  • @Lazzefire AMEN.

  • @Lazzefire HELL YEAH BABY.! and i dont care if he is old i would still FUCK IM.!!

  • @Lazzefire He's still beautiful!

  • @Lazzefire what the hell, he's even more gorgeous now than what he was when he was younger :)

  • @kuormis uhmm...I personally don't think so...but everyone has their own point of view.

  • @Lazzefire Totally agree with you. He was so beautiful!

  • @Lazzefire It is so true!!!

  • @Lazzefire You must've never seen River Phoenix!

  • @The1stTaskIsDragons haha I think I still prefer Leo's face, but River...omg... he was friking handsome and talented too...I can bet that If he was alive he would be bigger than Jonny Depp and Brad Pitt together.

  • @Lazzefire I also prefer Leo's face from when he was younger to that of River Pheonix's face, however, River had a quality about him that one doesn't come across very often. It's an indescribable quality that people like Leo and Johnny and all of those other actors don't have, no matter how impressive they are, they don't have that quality that River possessed.

  • @Lazzefire I have.... his name was River Phoenix, god rest his soul :(

  • @Lazzefire have you seen him recently? he is beyond beautiful just in a more manly way, that is all

  • @Lazzefire I agree that Leo was very beautiful in his late teens and early to mid-twenties. I don't like his look so much anymore because he has filled out more and gotten puffier looking in the face, which isn't a good look for him. I prefer him lanky. But another guy who is really beautiful is Douglas Booth, I watched a movie called "Christopher and His Kind", and Douglas Booth's character, Heinz, stuck out to me, because of his beautiful face.

  • @Lazzefire are you fucking me?! Leo is not that handsome anymore?! HELL YEAH HE IS! he's still completely fucking gorgeousssss!

  • @MissMeron Not for me u_u I mean, he is still handsome, but in a different way...he's face isnt delicated now haha, but yeah, I still love him ^^

  • soo sad. rimauld died in the end...

  • el final es tan triste :c

  • Whys he stab the guys hand?

  • @Cheytiel because the guy said how he still loved his wife and they were drunk. leo's character is quite perculiar :D

  • @Cheytiel Arthur Rimbaud and Paul Verlaine had a notoriously self-destructive relationship. They both took drugs that over time make you psychotically violent. Rimbaud was the beautiful radical child genius poet from the country, while Verlaine was astonishingly ugly, married and prone to psychotic fits from the drugs... it was never going to work out well. :P

  • @Cheytiel cause he's a fucking boss. XD.

  • @Cheytiel because he loves him.

  • @Cheytiel I believe it's to leave a mark. Love does not exist without pain. In the entire movie, there is a scene where Paul shoots leonardo's hand. They are both marked on their hands with pain set on each other. But in the end of the movie, it is the same scene but with Paul older, and Leonardo plays with the knife on his hand, but instead of stabbing him, he kisses his hand. It's a rather beautiful scene.

  • @Cheytiel Rimbaud (Dicaprio) stabs Verlaine (Thewlis) because hes mad that he is "A snivleing drunk" and it is a test to see if he loves him "The only unbeable thing is that nothing is unbearable" is what he says but really there both just messed up

  • hot!
