I don't understand...

A few days ago I used GoA with my sl 125 char and i didn't reach this damage. Why?

STR 40, DEX 30, INT 32 and FTH 30.

Yeah and were the real GoA, not the cursed.

claymore +5 lightning and some armor is all i need to rape on pvp i could probably do it with less but lets face it weapons with fire, lightning, or any other enchantment with a little bit of scaling for the other enchantment part are beast. regular weapons cant match them, i have a black knight sword +5 35 or so strength and i have a lightning +5 claymore claymore beats my black knight sword

I really don't get the appeal of GS (Stun-Lock... maybe), my SB Ricard's can do 300-400 damage with 1 hand, and let's face it, Piercing Sword move-set is amazing, specially run and block attacks, not to mention that ripostes with them are pure gold.

GS users are just very boring to fight, good training for parries though.

@NeoBlackie GS has a much larger hit range, less misses. And stun-locking. I have a MSGS+15 with 46 str and I hit 600 two handed with darkmoon blade. So basically when I get a hold of them, there's nothing they can do until they die:)

@Microzane1 But that's extremely boring, I mean, rolling and struggling to hit or parry an opponent is really what makes PVP fun and exciting.

And less misses? I think not, GS attacks are easily avoidable.

It's annoying to see us, the honest players, facing stun-locking tanks, which by any minimal error, or even lag, you get spammed to death.

Though flaskers really deserve to be butt-raped by you.

You actually think it's dishonest to have a tank strategy in Dark Souls? You're right it's boring, and in my opinion it's lame, but it's perfect honest. And the tank strategy has a lot of downsides. In fact, I think it's the easiest kind of player to beat.

And I don't say it's hard to kill them, it's just that you get punished a lot by tiny tiny errors, which sometimes, you can't avoid them, like lag.

No, dishonest is cheating.  things like disconnecting if you're losing, or whining that people who play the game better are cheating when they aren't. Dishonest is using the bottomless box glitch to PvP with things that player couldn't get at level 20.

@DTownzz Dishonest is present in almost everything in this game, so I guess we are both right.

Those tiny errors I say are usually: A) Lag B) DeadAngled (which usually the player doesn't even know it exists) and C) A roll not reaching far enough.

In fair duels, if someone of us makes an error, we usually get a couple of hits, or use a blossom, not a stun-chain who sends you to Oblivion.

Not to mention that punishing them for their errors is almost impossible (parry or BS)

@xThunderxWolfx Places like the Forest Covenant have no SL limit. You can be SL 700 and be put against a SL 20. The same goes the other way too, a SL 60 can be put against a team of 200's.

Since you two handed your weapons pretty much the whole time, I think you might have been better off leaving strength at 27 and investing the 12 points elsewhere (probably vitality or dexterity). That's just me though, you are the player. Keep up the awesome videos!
