Love this song....can't decide whether this or In Trance is their best.

Now I hope I don't get shot down for this...the guitar in the 2nd to 4th minute...first off I thought that it sounded a bit like Thin Lizzy but then it struck me that it was more Mike Oldfield.

Klaus Meine is without a doubt the best singer in the world, and Schenker can play a guitar better than anyone. The best is getting a chance to see them play live. It is hands down the best performance in all of music. I will take them with me until the day I die. They have turned song into meaning, and that meaning is so emotional and energetic. Jurgen Rosenthal, the drummer, is extremely underrated on this album. He left the Scorpions after this album and joined Eloy for 3 albums: Dawn, Ocean and Silent Cries & Mighty Echoes. Excellent albums...

@stjimmy111111 I love the 4 albums: Virgin killers, in trance, fly to the rainbow, and taken by force that uli was on...but i seem to like rudolph shenker's writing when uli left, cause uli just controlled most if not all of the writing,but from lovedrive til...well now it is a group effort...and i really like matthias jabs' style of playing...but i also think that uli was more breakthrough and unique...like a richie blackmoore style...also with the dress type too haha

There's no better feeling than taking the clear vinyl out of the sleeve and placing it upon the turntable and engage the motor.. placing the arm and stylus carefully and then slowly increase the volume. Lonesome Crow is by far one of the best albums ever written and pressed into vinyl.
