  • @AnubisThantosKK well anyhow, just dont carry those damn magnesium and flint things, total joke in the real world. those little break sticks are good for light and to be located. whistle..........

Enjoy your time in nature .

  • @AnubisThantosKK I spend quit a bit of time outside at night in the wilderness, light reflects off of the snow thus increasing available light, which is why a person can quickly get "snow blindness" during the day and wearing sunglasses is a good Idea. Yer last point is valid, but myself I merel cut pine bows and lay under them :) very comfortable. My point is people pack way to much and lack any kind of self reliance. If you would like I can post a video of snowshoeing at night with no moon.

  • Wear wool, if you get wet it keeps you warm, not sure why you need a flashlight in the winter, its so bright at night anyhow, but I guess for signaling .

  • canadians have a knack for making the most exciting thing seem boring

  • these vids are boring

    check out nutnfancy

    hes got better shit

  • Great vid and advice. Snowshoeing in a lot of fun. I almost always bring a tarp with me in case I have to stay the night.

  • @BobSigP229R why you dont realize that snow is an insulator?

  • I take a change of undershirts and a sweater change;because you are going to sweat and get cold if you don't change your shirt. Also take a couple pairs of wool socks for the same reason.

Great videos!!!I love snowshoeing with my son.We trek two miles one-way to our camp in New Brunswick,Canada.
