Good idea, but it more Breakout than Pong (which has already me mentioned in the comments here). The problem with this sort of thing is that architecture isn't optimally designed to be used as a play space. This can then cause more problems. As for the technology, I don't see it being an issue. PC with the game running on it, in which you can define spaces to be used as objects. Then the active area is not projected, just the paddle, ball and score. Is this correct?

People here are saying that this is very innovative when it really is quite simple! I don't work with actionscript and I seem to be the only one to realize he made boxes mapped to the building and made them invisible "alpha 0%" and coded them as boundrys. Whith his hittests and X times -1 or whatever.

that's not a recreating on pong, it's a recreation of super breakout. pong has two paddles, one on the right and left. this is breakout, one paddle that moves left to right on the bottom.

no, they filmed that area and made their own version of the game so that everything was put in to be bounced off of, and then they overlayed it onto the video...I can't explain it well, but no...no projector

yeah it looks cool. basically it seems like they artist figured out the scale dimensions of that building and built it out in flash using action script to control the impact around the windows then projected the full screen flash movie on the face of the building...its really cool but when you break it down not that difficult to produce...whats awesome here is the concept...what other kinds of flash games can be made and projected? So as I was saying somewhere above, it's a flash game (which use a video projector). I can dynamically create blocks (as many as I need) then move then around, adjust their size, position, shape... Once all blocks (each windows or other architectural obstacles) are setup, I make then invisible... So it seams that the ball is bouncing on the architecture when it's bouncing on invisible blocks...
