  • @mikeyducati9 they are better trained than the "regulars". 32 weeks of training for the Regiment and it is NOT easy. they train in both deffensive and offensive roles. they form part of the SFSG and also have a presence in the SAS and SRR.

they are good at what they do and without them air operations in places like afghan would not be able to happen. show some fucking respect and get over yourself.

  • it was all a bit much wasn't it? surely in a real situation you wouldnt throw 2 grenades or have an mg and use quite a few rounds on taking down 1 guy with his eyes in the sky looking for the hercules... really?

  • also...he's a pussy!

  • The assault course at Honington is a piece of cake! It's easy!

  • andre needs to have a snickers......and GET SOME NUTS!

  • sgt jones or 'jonesy' is in this from airforce afgan

  • I wish the British Armed Forces wouldn't agree to stuff like this ,makes us all look like a bunch of tits!

  • Is that SAC Goody at 6minutes that does RAF Afghan Diaries on youtube?

  • @nfbeck yep

  • Hey to everyone who has done this assualt course, I'm about to attend PGAC next month. I'd appreciate any tips, thanks a lot.

  • @volcanboy Train, like run, press ups, sit ups as much as you can. The RAF Regiment requires a 3 mile run under 23 minutes, 25 sit ups and finally 10 press ups.. The regt is great fun.. Good luck with your course

  • @volcanboy hi dude how did u get on, wb chris

  • The hell is up with his cam cream ! LOL

  • i done that assualt corse on my PGAC in 4: 10 was hjappy with that

  • Just got back from Honnington Yesterday :D thats assault course is a challange specially the A-frame with the heights :(

  • is this for the RAF or just marines

  • @smithmx08 its for the RAF Regiment.. nothing to do with the marines.

  • @smithmx08 fuck the marines we don't need em

  • @garbage106 yes we do :S im joining the RAF Regiment and bloody hell we need the Marines.... got a few mates in the marines

  • @smithmx08 RAF Regiment

  • GOD BLESS YOU FOR THIS

  • GOOOOOOOOOODY :D lol

  • Take in lots of water im doing the same thing mate training for the Regiment

  • ROFA is easy lol just the build up 2 it hard

  • cheers and watch qualification u need

  • joining reg :) how fit u need to be ? do u need to do a 3 mile run in under 35 mins!

  • aslong as your 3miler is around 20/21minutes

    bleep test is over 11,

press ups over 40 in a minute

sit ups over 40 in a minute

and aslong as you can swim

  • Thats what you should aim for that is the minimum but that is the best way of telling him minus the 3miler which is a strict time and the assualt course 5mins 11

  • bleep test has to be between 9-13 to get through seen as 13 is max in RAF

  • Yayyy i got 9.3

  • I got exactly the same.

  • 3 Miles in 24 Minutes.

  • 22.5 goin on my PGAC today!

  • and passed today

    its fucking Brutal

  • Ramboy, this sound familiar: "Sprint! ... GRENADE! ... Sprint! .. GRENADE!"

    "Pick up the stretcher!"

Haha... I've got it all to look forward to again in 4 weeks time, mangled my ankle good n proper on my last attempt.

  • jog then springt then jog to catch breath then repeat

  • ha ha ha ha what a fanny man talk about just givin up at the first chance you get

  • omg dont push yourself to hard mate

  • train hard

  • run run and run some more, just graduated as a regiment gunner last week you need to be really fit to pass the course especially for ROFA

  • frankly an embarassment to airborne forces. fair one done for the 'celeb' but every man jack of the maroon clad instructors were prob thinkin wtf?? its no where near as easy as that and it tickles me actually. iv done my time with para reg and raf reg and i know id look back after that and say - well it seemed a good idea at the time.

  • lmao "i got a stitch i couldnt go anymore"

  • Good video, i'm looking at going in after iv finished my degree in May and this has given me a better insight into the training, looks hard but good!

  • if your gettin ur degree and ur thinkin raf regt, go in as an officer mate
