The first act was great, very grounded in reality and creepy. But the second act was awful, there was ackward jump scares and it lost all of it's atmosphere. I was like "WTF happened?!" I give it a 5.

I don't get why people don't seem to have any appreciation for this movie....I loved it. After reading all the negative reviews I watched it a second time and I still couldn't find any major story or acting issues with the movie. It may not be completely original, but it has elements of originality throughout the film. It's decently scary if you find demons scary versus a mentally insane, unusually small women scary (The Orphan), and the little girl actress is so cute! 4 out of 5 stars easy.

So I Didnt Come Into This Movie With High Expectations, Leaving With a Smile Cause It Was Better Then I Thought.

Good Acting With What I Thought As An Interesting Story Line.

Renee Zellweger Was One Person I Thought Id Never See In a Horror Movie, Surprisingly, She Did A Good Job. Bradley Cooper Was Also As Good, But The Little Girl Was One Of My Favorites.

Some Moments Made ME Jump, And a Couple I Giggled.

Though It Wasnt a Perfect 10

Case 39 looks so creepy, I have a big fear of demon possesions and well demons in general, but I love movies with good twists. Now I'm torn I kinda want to see it! Oh and as for why Hollywood keeps putting kids in horror movies, it's because kids are scary!

I have seen a movie on SciFy that sounds a little like that where all the kids fall into a deep sleep/sickness thing for years and then wake up one day and start killing the adults, I have no clue what that was called, but Dawson from Dawson's creek was in it.

The acting was some of the worst I've seen (I did not care for anyone to be honest), the movie cheap even for its own good, and just when it started to get semi-interesting, the movie ended. It should have been shelved for eternity. I'm pretty sure "Case 39" will be better due to a bigger budget, a more likable cast, and an actually interesting concept. "Trick R Treat", on the other hand, was epic.
