  • sounds nice! - thinking about ash/maple '55 style.

  • I think that shows how important the amp is. While its still a nice sound and of course great playing i think it doesnt sound nearly as good as your other videos, too much trashy harsh distortion, bright, twangy modern sound.

  • @snorrevonflake I don't know if anyone will ever make a pedal that beats natural amp distortion. The Pro Jr. actually sounds better cranked up more than with a pedal. The Blackstone overdrive we use in a few other videos does a better job than the Boss pedal for sure. Our Flip HD camera leaves a lot to be desired as well in the audio realm.

  • Sweet shirt Jeff!

  • Great demo on a well balanced sounding guitar, and funny ending!

  • For full disclosure, I forgot something that some folks may want to know.

The Pro Junior in the video is stock except it has an eminence blue alnico speaker as found in 90's reissue Bassmans and I always run a 12AY7 in V1 or first preamp tube instead of the recommended 12AX7 in this amp.

  • Very very very, nice ash sound !!!

    It is very wonderful pickups.

I was especially impressed by the sound of Bridge & Middle pickups deeply.
