@christmasday2009 I agree. Not only was the show rather boring this year, but there was so little time spent at Disneyland. I guess they are focusing more on WDW cuz that property is still hurting whereas Disneyland isn't hurting as much, if at all.

@loonercrazy Yeah, Walt Disney World is the tourist attraction, not Disneyland. They're both magical if you ask me. (I do prefer Disney World because that's what I'm used to, but I've been to both)

@loonercrazy Yes, that's true, but I meant that Disney World is the resort that more tourists visit for vacation. Disneyland does have tourists from all over the world coming to visit, but Disney World is located close to Orlando which is one of the largest tourist destinations in the world. Disneyland has more annual pass holders that visit frequently and I don't count them as tourists.

@gymnastgirlflips You have no idea of your facts sir or madam. 60+ percent of al guests to DLR are domestic or international guests. While WDW may be somewhat higher, it isn't by much. And you really don't have a "local" market in Orlando due to the small size of that city. It takes the entire state of Florida to match how many people live in Southern California. So that is the true comparison of 'local" between both properties.

@gymnastgirlflips WDW gets more Europeans, Brazil and eastern Canada, whereas DLR gets more western Canada, Mexico, Japan and Australians. While DLR has far above the amount of Annual Passholders over WDW, that doesn't mean the park is filled predominantly with Passholders only. During peak seasons in fact most all of the passes are blocked out.

It is a special type of lens that they put on the camera.

@wdw1hsm1girl Actually as far as I know it doesn't have to do so much with any special type of lens. It has to do with tilting your lens on a camera so that it is at an angle to the camera's focal plane rather than flush even with it. Mind you there is a mechanism that tilts and shifts the lens so that it is not parallel to the focal plane.. This was first used in 1973 so that architects would not get lens perspective distortion when photographing tall buildings.

@elpresidio Actually, the easiest way to do it is to shoot the objects in mirror, and then tilting mirror. That is, also an analog way to go when shooting video, although everyone does it digitally now.

@Hatterific It's pretty simple, you either use a tilt-shift lens, or after the fact you can fake it by just fading a blur across the top and bottom of your subject, making it appear that only a small depth of field is in focus, which gives the illusion of a miniature world.
