  • Leave car running when you check transmssion oil. If the oil level is the same as when th eengine was off, that spells trouble for tranny. If colour is dark red, that also is not good, flush out oil.

  • Modern cars of today which are fuel injected have their fuel pumps located inside the fuel tank at rear of car.

BTW, if you opwn a Ferrari GTS sports car like Magnum PI, don't bother opening the hood of your car to check engine oil, check the back hood or flap of your vehicle, much similat to the VW Beetle. BEEP BEEP!!!

  • Btw, when you start your car, depress the accelerator pedal (gas pedal) I.E ONLY IF YOUR CAR IS CARBURETED. Some cars today or most cars today are fuel injected, you need to lok under your hood to see if your car is carbureted, if it is it you might also have something called a FUEL PUMP adjacent or attatched to your carburetor.

    And away you go!

    p.s Cheers!

  • Sometimes it's not good to loosen lugnuts while tire is still on the ground. Not exactly sure why.

  • 1) If the car is front wheel drive , you can jack the front wheels up and THEN loosen , if u want. The same applies if the car is rearwheel drive. I'm not sure if it is AWD (all wheel drive) probably same would apply? I'm saying this on the conditiont hat the car's transmission is in park , NOT neutral i,e
