Honestly, as a raptors fan, I think the American - Canadian issue is killing this team every season. Great players avoid to come and players took off as long as they get famous in this team (T-Mac,Carter,Antonio Davis,Bosh..) They don't care about the passion of the fans in this city. This is bullshit for professional players.

#1. He put up better numbers in NJ (23.6/5.8/4.7) on 44.7% FG and 80.9% FT compared to 23.4/5.2/3.9 on 44.6% FG and 78.3% FT in Toronto.

#2. He won more in NJ (2 playoff series in 5 years) compared to 1 playoff series in 6 years in Toronto.

#3. He was WAY more durable in NJ (13 reg. season games missed, 0 playoff games missed) vs. 86 reg. season games missed and 5 playoff games missed in Toronto.

It may be common belief that he was better with the Raptors than the Nets (especially amongst Canadians), but that is not true by any objective metric. They only thing he did "better" with the Raptors was get recognition/"love"/more all-star votes etc. By the numbers hew as better in NJ. Quite a bit.

No, numbers don't count for everything, but numbers + winning does. He was better in NJ in numbers, regular season winning percentage, and playoff success. You haven't given a single fact to back your ascertation that he was better in Toronto. The numbers prove you're wrong.

He wasn't durable in Toronto you idiot. He was injured a ton. That's why he missed 86 games + 5 more in the playoffs. They weren't "fake injuries" either, despite what Leo Rautins says. If they were fake, prove it.

yeah he was pressured more and double teamed by the defence when he was at the raptors, their only good player next was who? mo peterson, alston/bogues the team sucked in NJ kidd, and jefferson left vince more alone than toronto, he was a highlight machine at raptors if he had the athleticism he had at toronto when he was at nets, and came a year early when the had kenyon martin or a dominant big man they would of won the championship against the spurs...
