early '80's. Lol Coxhill walked into a bar where i was working at that time. i recognised him and played this song, which was in the vast jazzrecordcollection. he appreciated this, so he took his soprano and played for us. nice, he is a walrus .......

Just watched King Crimson, then Soft Machine, and then Kevin Ayers. I wanted to see if anyone had put Lol Coxhill on here, and sure enough we get this one. I remember buying this album, and being...puzzled. I guess I was too young to understand it. Sadly my ex-wife got it in the divorce, even though she hated it, and my other albums. Fuck- that was a long time ago.
