but sadly, the more mainstream something gets, the more potential consumers an industry has, capitalism will rear its head and try to squeeze as much money as it can from the masses, and trasnfer all that wealth to the top 2%

sadly, skateboarding will not be able to escape that path

skateboarding is now VERY mainstream, and with nike, adidas, and k swiss coming in, the spirit of the sports will change, as will the participants
