I was born during the second world war, and one of the few records we had was this one--I loved it, and played it all the time as a little kid, on our wind-up (hi fi ) until the worn out needles ruined it. I can see it now, It was on the 'Regal Zonaphone' label, in Red and gold. I bought a CD of all Georges stuff in the 90's---magic ! PS. I wonder why some lines were omitted ? Not TOO rude surely ?

Although, (thank you QI) when he played to entertain the troops and the queen in the fifties, she not only insisted on the unaltered version, but had him sing it three times.
