Hazel's rendition is beautiful and really conjures up the sweetness of times gone by so succinctly.
If only we lived in a world where the vision that Burns expressed was a reality. Still, good always triumphs over evil.
And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp, ( pint - tankard )
And surely I'll be mine,
And we'll tak a cup o kindness yet,
For auld lang syne!
I'll drink to that my friends and Burns' vision of peace, love and harmony. As he said, 'An honest mans the noblest work of God!"

And there's a hand my trusty fiere,
And gie's a hand o thine,
And we'll tak a right guid-willie waught,
For auld lang syne
I'll drink to that!
Hazel's rendition is sang with such feeling and conjures up that bitter/sweet feeling of times gone by so succinctly!
Burn's vision of a brotherhood across the world can still bring a sigh or tear to my eye.
If only, as this is how it ought to be, but evil forces in this world want otherwise. Only good can triumph over evil and it WILL! Be happy all.
Braw - thanks Hazel.

A beautiful and little known version of the old new year favourite. Hazel's voice is haunting, delicate and beautiful. More please!
