Somewhat, a video like this inspired me to become vegetarian, I've been one for about half a year now, and I'm still going strong!! Oh and to those who say without meat on the planet humans would be dead, there is always a solution to a problem, and we are smart enough to solve them. And that problem being not enough food... Anyways, thanks PETA for the video and my health has been better then ever because of the fact I'm vegetarian :) I will continue to be one for the rest of my life ;)
@yokitty787 There are no regulations for "free-range" meat, dairy products, and eggs. Most "free range" animals are still tossed onto crowded trucks for long and often deadly rides to the slaughterhouse. They are still hoisted upside down, and they are often still slaughtered while conscious.
Like the "free-range" label, the "organic" label does not guarantee that animals were treated any better than animals raised on conventional factory farms. It doesn't require a cage to overcrowd animals

PETA, you want to know the reason why cows and pigs and chickens are at no risk of extinction and their survival (as a species) will continue? Because they are useful to us. One of the greatest traits an animal can evolve is to be useful to humans. And also 'fun fact' if everyone was a vegetarian, there would not be enough food on the planet to feed them. Humans would die as a species. And I know that you wont approve this. You don't want people to know the truth. And you don't want debate.

In fact, our digestive tracts still haven't evolved enough to properly digest meats like natural carnivores do. I don't disagree that NOW we are in a state of panic over how to feed our overpopulated planet. Instead of being reactive and creating GMOs, perhaps we should be proactive and have better population controls. Otherwise, our future generations will still not have enough to eat.

My grandpa sells cows once every 4 years for slaughter but he completely free ranges his cattle. they have 100 acres to roam and good non gm food and salts to eat with all natural, non polluted water holes to drink from. He is a great man whom i hope all farmers can be like him

Yes it is true that animals are raised for people to be nourished but, they don't have to endure what some of them do. They should be COMPLETELY unconscious so they dont feel any pain or detect any fear. Some of these inbreeding people that call themselves farmers take advantage because they think animals are stupid and dont feel anything. NOT TRUE. Would they like to be treated in the same way? Don't think so. I became a vegetarian for the animals sake. I plan to stay that way.

You don't need to become a vegetarian to be against this sort of animal treatment. Pay more for the free range eggs, go to your local farm/butchers instead of a damn supermarket. Ensure the meat your buying is from an animal that was allowed to live a good life first.
Even though I don't support Veganism, I want people to know about this poor animal treatment. More natural humane ways that don't cause this stupidity of people.
