It sure does, the bass and the guitar are completely separate in every way, although they will work side by side in any amp also. You also can order them with 4-6 or 10 string outputs, which is a nice feature if you like the multiple channel stereo sounds. More info at Bunker Guitars
That is the neatest instrument I've ever seen! As long as I've been going to music shops, especially places like Guitar Center, I'm surprised I've never once seen one of these on the shelves for sale... which makes me question how many guitar players (even veteran) really know or have heard about these.
I barely heard about one tonight, I'm definately going to have to keep an eye out for one now. Thank you for introducing us to this neat instrument!
@biusKOCH Thanks, for your frienship and support, the Touch Guitar has been a lifetime quest for perfection of a new musical instrument idea, your friend, Dave B
It's been a lifetime development, but so worth it. Just now starting to get production back on the move, so sell them but in limited quantities, at Bunker Guitars
ddbunk...that was wonderful...cant imagaine playing guitar AND the bass, smart cookie there! Do you make these guitars and perform? Never heard of such a thing!
Thanks, it has been a lifetime design, I build them custom with the Dave Bunker method book , they are really a great instrument and I add midi if wanted , I do perform with the instrument, thanks, DB
@bush555 Eddie Van Halen jambed with me at a NAMM show several times in LA, he was great on the Touch Guitar, and is a wonderful artist and talent, love him for his work
@lidesnowi I think he wanted one, but when you have spent a lifetime developing a great style liked his, you stay with it. I hope sometime in his retirment, he will get one and have fun with it, thanks for the comments, DaveB
I love those St Louis Blues sounds, really nice man keep it up! We need more innovative guitar players like you, to keep the music industry new and 'fresh'
wonderful thing you've done. i've always wanted to mimic Jimmy Smith's Hammond Organ style somehow on guitar but it's impossible. (anyway not even organists can). have you tried this? you can send me info if you like. thanks.
Hey , just wait, I haven't even started showing what can be done on the Touch Guitar, i just haven't had the time. I'm litterly loaded down with new guitar wood but hope soon the get caught up and get back to the videos, thanks Dave
I've never seen, or even heard of such. I've been playing for 20 years, seen double and even triple-neck guitars, but not this. You are absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable musically.
this is the first time i've seen the touch guitar, but i have to say it literally blew me away. some of the tones you can get out of it are incredible. keep up the good work mate ^__^
Great to see someone using effects and bends, the way 8 finger should be. There's a reason touch guitarists don't just "Play the piano! instead". The guitar is more expressive in many ways.
Thanks, In the near future I'm going to start teaching my Touch Guitar students and buyers across the country new things you can do on the Touch Guitar, I just haven't had the time to get into effects and styles like I want to.
Good to hear from you. I do my wood business in Marysville, my son and me do the guitars out of Utah. I still work on and finish guitars here and when I can play music. Dave Bunker Guitars
Dave, that electronic string dampener system is great. It should be possible to install it on other tapping guitars as well. You're an inventor, you figure out how, hehe!!
Hi Sam and Robin, it's great folk like you folks who keep a crazy guitar builder/inventor like myself moving on. Thanks so much for the great support. Dave
