  • WTF...how is it you have this still on youtube and yet my shit from 2010 got tagged and pulled for copyright bs. I got a nasty letter from youtube/blue devils org. I'm reposting it now.

  • i love it i play snare on da side but bass is mi baby but i love it

  • how old r they?????

  • @hirafarsha20 between ages 14-22. but most of time the youngest in the blue devils are 16 or 17 year olds.

  • @hirafarsha20 collage students

  • tenors at 1:23 so hot

  • i absolutely love the drumlines book for the opener... so sweet

  • The first trumpet soloist missed his entrence at around 4:16. big shocker to me

  • HOLY CRAP HE DID!

  • haha yea. Early season mistake.

  • and why is that hmmm?

  • I love the California corps like a fat kid loves cake but does it seem like the lines on the east play more notes than the lines on the west( cadets & crown mainly)?

  • I love how their encore is the length of a high school marching band show.

Just goes to show how leet the corps are.

  • Can anyone tell me the difference between a marching tuba (not sousaphone) and a contra?

  • has to do with the size. and technically contra is just short for "contra bass" which is what they called the G's so really you could say they don't use contras anymore, but mostly its the 5/4 size vs. 4/4 or 3/4 that most high schools use

  • does anyone have the drum music starting at 4:01? those are some dope rudiments.

  • you should be able to play that by ear

  • thanks, that helps!

  • Was that sarcasm?

  • not at all! i love learning on my own!!!

  • lol you probably shoulda said beats if your were gonna say dope :P

  • horns and tuba's, love that combination <3

  • at around 2 mins, what song is that?

  • That would be the Band Of Brothers Theme song, very good series worth watching.

  • yea thats where i recognized it from =)

  • Band Of Brothers... AMAZING SONG! I tear up every time. :D

  • @cenafan1920 Band of Brothers

  • why do people that record the show only pay attention to the drumline fuck

  • jesus... 9 snares?

  • idk if you watch at 4:50 he kinda plays a solo and when the camera goes back over where he was standing he wasnt there so i think its a solo

  • you know whats funny? people are talking shiet on bluedevils. do i see you guys out there performing a kick ass show? thought so

  • i marched that show.

  • maybe he got the solo and so he has not to play in this song

  • i sat right in front of you like 5 seats

  • i also think, they ruined it.... they should become clear, what music is, and what soul this theme has... otherwise they will play it anytime like shit

  • i also think they ruined the band of brothers theme

  • i think BD ruined band of brothers theme...it's really sensitive but they blast through it I dunno i just didnt like it

  • well how about the c corps.. haha were just as good

  • i really like that ballad

  • ending feature gave me goosebumps. haha

  • Michael Kamen's Band of Brothers is nice ballad...

  • @JessOnTheRun agreed

  • I've always enjoyed the Blue Devils the most when they play jazz or latin jazz. It think it just fits them.

  • hah, was the first sop supposed to play the screamer? I think he did it b/c it was encore! If he was supposed to, he sounded kind of redundant :/

  • holy heck! 8:52

  • love playing that shit!

  • yes it is

  • is the theme from Band of Brothers before the part from the show
