Download is epic, it just a shame about this years lineup - deterred me and a lot of folk I know from going. Which sucks, because the scale of that fest is just immense. BUT! I have to say, on the whole - I enjoy Bloodstock more. Better bands in plentiful supply, with more like-minded people and an atmosphere like no other.

Bloodstock is the best festival i've ever been too... no there isn't 60,000 people go but it's an immense intimate festival!

Ahh yes Download is amazing, but Im looking forward to seeing some of the more heavy bands at Bloodstock this year, like satyricon and carcass, bands which shouldnt be played in front of the crowds of download, but at a more intimate crowd like bloodstock

maybe the fact that the 2nd band on the bill this year were limp bizkit... followed closely by the blackout, hollywood undead, bring me the horizon, pendulum, enter shikari, youmeatsix, go:audio... and have actually featured lethal bizzle in years past... and bloodstock is headlining carcass this year!
