Wow this is a great video. They are almost equally matched. The reason I will give this battle to Beyonce is: She has amazing control of all her notes (xtina doesn't), also because Beyonce is a lot more versatile. I would love to see more videos like this.
I mean, Xtina's high falsetto/whistle notes sound so similar to screams, that some people didn't even know whether the note at 3:50 was a failed whistle attempt or a genuine scream. She doesn't do anything impressive where high notes are concerned. Her upper range in full voice is EXTREMELY limited, and her falsetto ones sound like little controlled pipsqueals.
Xtina is a lower/midrange singer. That's why she has all of her power from B4-Eb5. Above that, she is getting very THIN.

From a trained vocalist, B's voice is much more diverse with a better command and execution. She can easily switch from note to note. Cristina on the other hand does have more range but she needs to force and climb to get there. Also, B is way hotter!!...lol

Wow this is a great video. They are almost equally matched. The reason I will give this battle to Beyonce is: She has amazing control of all her notes (xtina doesn't), also because Beyonce is a lot more versatile. I would love to see more videos like this.

I mean, Xtina's high falsetto/whistle notes sound so similar to screams, that some people didn't even know whether the note at 3:50 was a failed whistle attempt or a genuine scream. She doesn't do anything impressive where high notes are concerned. Her upper range in full voice is EXTREMELY limited, and her falsetto ones sound like little controlled pipsqueals.
Xtina is a lower/midrange singer. That's why she has all of her power from B4-Eb5. Above that, she is getting very THIN.

That's a dramatic trait(She always growling or grunting). She has husky undertones especially to her mid voice but the dead give away is her "brightness" in her upper voice. Even when she growls, the brightness is there.

Christina's famous, yes, but to me, her voice didn't get her as far as her sex appeal. She sounds good sometimes.
