Chris Harris bought that bmw m3 even being a Porsche fan and wasn't very happy with it so he bought later a gt3 rs 4.0 and it's miles better than this sport sedan. I'm not saying that m3 cars suck but even I would buy it if I couldn't get a 911 but I see so many people buying that m3 and then becoming bored with it. 911>gtr>m3

I have driven both a 997 GT3 and the M3 Comp. The M3 is the easier car to drive and live with, but with equal performance, no brainer!!!

@gabethababe04 I would have agreed with you before I test drove an M3 with the dual clutch transmission. The DCT is leaps and bounds better than the sequential manual transmission used in the e46. Shifts are just silly fast, much faster than I could ever do. If you really want to get the best performance out of an m3, I'd have to say you gotta go with the DCT. Its fast, and its more convenient as a daily driver. With all that being said, I still ordered mine with a 6mt. ;)
