Btw, he's Crackdown and Crackdown 2's narrator, and does voice work in a crap ton of other video games and anime.

Actually Illidan is amazingly important to the lore. Without Illidan there would be no Night Elves. TBC wouldnt have happened without him. Lorewise, illidan should have been stronger than Arthas/Lich King but if he had defeated Arthas then there would have been no TFT nor would there have been WotLK. Arthas didnt really matter until W3. He plays a key role but in the big picture his lore role really isnt that big.
