Can you change the weather??? Can you make it sunny? it is just as easy to turn on the TV and watch the weather forecast and of course a lot cheaper than having something that will tell you the same as any weather forecast,,, What a waste of time and money.
NIce station I have it too in Italy! but if I can suggest you the Davis should stay under the sun... you've chosen a too shaded area and according to the WMO rules, the temperature sensor has to be located in the most sunny place (that's why Davis provides you a solar shield)
If you want you can also seeing temperature decimals in the consolle. You have only to push 2ND key and then push UNITS.

Good choice Davis makes great weather products...I got my VP2 in Oct. 2005...the instruments in my VP1 were destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.
