I honestly don't think she's got the voice for a song like this. But her voice is amazing, though, don't get me wrong! But, this song, a big no-no for a voice like hers :) It turns out all ... blahblah. To... something. And DEAR GOD. I couldn't listen past 2:00 because it got uhm... too... she butchered it :(

I like how a lot of other idol series perform a lot of current songs. They are harder to cover but it's always really interesting. On American Idol the contestants usually pick older or somewhat unknown songs.

i mean, i think shes got a good voice and all her other songs are BRILLIANT, i think most people don't like this because they are comparing to a very talented artist. But She doesn't sing this with much feeling and you really feel it in one republic.

How on earth did she win? Dud notes all over the place, attempted vocal acrobatics towards the end were cringe-worthy and overall, although it improved towards the middle, a below average take on Apologize. No wonder it kept her debut single from topping the charts.
