  • Both green tea and regular tea are sources of fluoride contamination. The tea leaves absorb fluoride (and commonly, metals such as aluminum) from the environment. While tea has many healthy uses, it also can be a source of toxicity if you drink a lot of it. Do some research about tea leaves and fluoride...you'll find all kinds of information.

  • If you drink one glass of chilled water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and don't eat or drink for at least half an hour afterwards, you burn 100 calories straight up. The body uses that much energy to heat the water up to body temperature when it hits your stomach. The colder the water, the more calories are burned because the more work is needed to bring it up to tepid.

  • how can i burn 1200 calories aday?? .. are you talking about with exersice or all together with what my body burns on its own? ... im 19 years old, im a girl, have good amount of muscle.. how many calories at the lowest would you recomend i go to? i´ve been anorexic and bulimic, so im a huge calorie restricter :S

  • @SHUPChase You want the weight to be enough that it tires out your muscles. The weight isn't important so much as it's enough to tear your muscles. Once those weights start feeling more comfortable, up the weights by maybe five pounds. Pick a weight that tires your muscles out around the tenth repetition, then do two or three sets.

    I exercise everyday,and watch what i eat, but from hearing you i realise i'm not exercising as hard as i think i am.

    I bicycle while i watch tv, but i could easily add weights into that!

  • You made everything so easy to understand even the math. I am about to start my journey to a healthier life. My goal is to loose 10lbs and learn how to live healthier. The last two years I have been gaining weight quickly before that I was able to eat what I want. I want to get my weight in check before it gets worse.

  • Mike, I'm 13 yrs.old I weighed a lot. Everyone at school made fun of me last year and when i came back to school after a summer on your plan, i amazed everyone. they were shocked. No one has made fun of me since. You even helped me get a girlfriend(my first due to my weight). You are a great person. I thank you so much for changing my life.   • Mike I want to thank you because I watched one of your other videos about how to lose weight and it has changed my life style. you inspired me to change the way I eat and think about food. So far I have lost 7 pounds with healthy eating and exercising in a month. to me that is a lot! It's like I have found the secret to losing weight. thanks again

    I've learned that most diets work for the first 2 weeks because they almost always suggest you drink tons of water:o) Of course, it's water weight, but it's still weight right! LOL

    I've got to get back to my weight lifting. I've been slacking the last few months.
