Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's not Brian Jones. This song was recorded at the Record Plant in May 1968, and is available on the KPFA tapes. Brian wasn't there. Brian and Jimi did record "My Little One" (which features Brian on sitar) at the Olympic Sound Studios in London in October 1967.
Brian also played the piano on 2 takes of "All Along the Watchtower" in January 1968, but Eddie Kramer cut these takes.
