This was wonderful!! I am a Glendale girl living out in Los Angeles now and watching this brought tears to my eyes! I hope you shoot many more walking videos around Glendale especially around Christmas with all the lights!! Could you make one of St. Pancras Church and Grotto? Thank you!!!
I am one of "them" who hung on Otto Road ..... Great video !!! At 69th & Otto rd used to be a mask factory yrs ago and there was a cement factory right by the tracks at the end of the video. We use to call that area ( by the tracks)"the lots" where the "party people" from central park would hang out ....livin in Florida now and raised my family ... great memories and video ... gotta see your others ..Tks !
Great job , again thanks. La Fres was on the other side of the street(the large 99 cent store) in the mid 70's to at least the mid 80's. This was my old stomping grounds. i lived on 66th Street. again great job!! & thanks
Otto Road was a great place for learning to drive back in the early 60's, when it was more overgrown before some of the commercial buildings appeared. What is a laundy was a car dealer La Fres Ford i believe. as a kid did enter :the tracks' from time to time to climb on the box cars....Would speculate train going back and forth are to make up a train consist. The gondola cars filled w trash destined for landfills in far away states...
