Hi, yesterday I took apart my PSP and I put some of the screws in the wrong place: you know that little bit at the end were you have to take off that plastic to get the wired bit of green board out, I put a small black screw in the wrong hole and it's not coming out.. :(
And I found a bit of metal which was part of my PSP before but I didn't see it in your video and I couldn't find where it went yesterday so I chucked in the bin.. :/
@lakersfanism to modify it (change your faceplate, backplate and buttons) or fix it if you have broken screen, drifting analog, broken buttons or wet parts.
i have a screw driver thats for taking apart psps and it doesn't take them out i turn it and it like clicks cuz it slips out of the grooves.FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUCCCKKK!!! i t PISSES ME OFF!
you should/can just use a normal small ended screwdriver as most nowadays have tiny magnets on the end which it picks up the screw (nope doesn't ruin your PSP)
Was it a 'Torx' Driver from DealExtreme? (Little black screwdriver- looking thing with a star-like head). If so; sadly; you got played. (I got one; those things are completely useless) Use a #000 head Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws. Otherwise; you might grind and strip them.
good question, It cant really do damage at all for just taking the face plate off. Just be sure that you get the directional buttons right as that can tend to stuff up when putting the plate back on meaning when you press the buttons it dont work (NOW that dosent mean its broken it just means the button pad isnt touching the senser board) so to answer you question no not at all just dont touch anything you dont need to make sure theres no dust and your good to go. PSPs are (well mine are) strong
hahaha bro sorry not replying you last one ive been on holidays, and if you watched the vid to the end it tells you who it is ;) but yeah its crystal castles- alice practice
