Percussion is all about "Time" and Dynamic. It's a Neutral Clef instrument. You- obviously- only worry about the "flash" of the instrument and not its purpose. Playing it is what makes you better. Not the brand. Are you from a different country? In English, it's "cymbals". Don't mean to be an A-Hole...

But in 2008 while he was preparing his Hudson Master Series dvd, his contract with Sabian ran out and he started a new one with Zildjian. Also - notably - he quit his affiliation with Vater and now Zildjian produce his signature stick.

Yeah, John is endorsed by Tama, so although he's playing a Mapex kit, he displays the Tama logo to honor his part of the endorsement contract.

Johnny is like the poster above says, from South Carolina. He's probably one of the best all around drummers out there. Visual and impeccable chops.. Justin Timberlake has him now and he's raised the bar in that band too.
