This is ABSOLUTELY GOLD. I played baseball for years growing up and I've always struggled at address telling myself not to swing like I'm playing baseball. Watching this video really solidified in my mind how a good swing should feel - not unlike a baseball swing. AND I GOT INSTANTANEOUS RESULTS. I went to the range and couldn't hit a bad shot - I can't believe its so simple. I used to get so frustrated and now its refreshing to have some consistency. Keep up the good work!
hi Jeff ,i been following the one plane teaching and my latest thing was trying to rotate the body around then club and had a lot more success, then I realised that weight goes on the front foot like your sponge teaching VD, but I also realized the front foot also straightens and goes away from ball.I looked at your swing and saw that going on.In doing that dose it bring the hips on plane and clears them to bring club on inside of ball ! do you have any teaching on that
Just having the baseball swing mentality when swinging the golf club makes hitting a golf ball easy. That's if you know how to swing a baseball bat properly already.
is there a way to take my hands out of the swing? No matter what I try, and believe me I have tried almost everything, I seem to hit or slap at every shot. Obviously no power or consistency. I have hit some pure shots by accident in the past, so I know what a good shot should look and feel like. Any advice would be a great help. I believe I have good grip, posture and alignment. I try to maintain soft even grip pressure, but this is impossible as I am slapping at everything.
i like this new video. i have improved more in the last 3 months following your instruction than i have in all the years past. i understand the baseball analogy ... keep up the great work
Jeff finally someone meets the weekend golfer halfway! Thanks for helping me use my existing athletism to help transfer to my swing. I have always had instructors help by reconstructing every aspect leaving me confused and over thinking. These tips I can take to the course and range NOW! Awesome job.
