I probably would not have even seen the Men In Black movies if they had come out when I was much older. I was only 14 when the first one was released- so I saw the second one because I had already seen the original. And I will see the third one since I have already seen the two that have been made. Austin Powers is also another example- the next one is coming out in 2013.

I know the news on that website is not always official and can be cancelled if it possibly is real- but I believe that over what you just said. @HenTodolo Some idiot on here was saying "No Country For Old Men" was MIB 3. That is definitely BS because the real "Men In Black 3" is scheduled for release in 2012. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith both have finally signed on to reprise their roles. I just hope this next one does not suck with them waiting 10 years to do the following sequel. It has been learned in the past that too long a wait can ruin the franchise. Examples of that would be with Terminator, Die Hard, Rambo, and Indiana Jones.

@delta2ish I thought the movie "Rambo" itself was okay- but it did not seem to fit in with the original trilogy. That is the problem with sequels made too many years later. I even liked "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull"- but it did look silly compared to its original trilogy. "Live Free or Die Hard" was an okay enough movie- but it was just all wrong trying to continue the Die Hard trilogy with that. I sure hope they do not make that same mistake with the Lethal Weapon movies.
