@bamahacker01 I'm born and raised in the US (west coast) and I've heard and used this phrase before. It's fairly common in the states. Maybe you're not as well-traveled as you first thought? Although, you point out that the poster "[isn't] english", so maybe it's not a UK thing? At any rate, language is a living thing and it changes. If it didn't, we'd still be using "f" instead of "s" and I wouldn't be loving that.
