I think that's Czech, not Turkish. I watched this six parter BBC version. Much grimmer and truer to the cold war ambiance than the new movie (which is still quite good). The BBC took liberties with the story at the end that rendered it too neat compared to the novel, which is as bitter a story as one could want. Guinness is superb--understated, dry, reticent; the book tactfully lets the irony of Smiley's name stand alone. In the BBC production, Esterhase, Haydon, and Alleline are also standouts.
Is the Czech not translated on screen in the Broadcast version either?
