yeah man ur amp will tell you it working voltage. 9-14.2volt for example but u never want to drop to low bc it causes clipping from the amp and make the amp draw more then its capable of resulting in over heating of amp. 11.2v its to bad but depending on the power u are pushing, u can upgrade anymore without new batts and alt. i need 200amp alt, new batt, new wire, to run my Fi15btl and 3500d AQ amp
