Is it just my opinion or is that new Amory Wars series just not as good as this... Christopher Shy was the right artist for Co and Ca to me. The story has such serious tones and the new art makes it look just like an average book. Also, the writing of TSSTB is worse in the Amory Wars than it was when it was the.Bag.On.Line adventures, which I loved. I wish they could get Shy to do the whole series...

the good apollo comic book is illustrated like this, but not the second stage turbine blade comics. they look like a mix between an old superman comic and a zombie comic with how much blood there is.

It's the pamphlet art from the actual "Good Apollo, I'm burning Star IV-Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness" CD case. It's the background scenes over which the lyrics are printed, but I wouldn't get my hopes up about it actually becoming the new style for the comics.

Don't know if you've figured this out by now, but there have been like 4-5 different artists for the comics of the story of Coheed and Cambria. The Amory Wars is what the whole story is titled, and Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV, is still a part of the story, but the story exits the world of Claudio Kilganon, and we are introduced to the Writer, who is another fictionalized version of Claudio Sanchez. In this comic, Christopher Shy does the art.

What the writer is experiencing in his own life is dictating what he writes in the story, (The good side and dark side of his former love Erica Court are portrayed in the story as Ambellina and Newo) His twisted side (the bike) tells him that the only way to finish the story is to kill ambellina.

Tenspeed isn't actually a spirit, the writer's just imagining the bike is talking as he gets more and more messed up, and it telling him to do things is actually his own twisted side talking, through the hallucination that it is the bike. And the album is about the writer and the characters in the story interacting, as the writer is planning on giving up the story, but Claudio realises that if this happens he won't exist. (This is what Welcome Home is all about).

No, im pretty sure that inferno is writing the story, and the willing well is a portal between both worlds, the real one, and the fake one.

You see, jesse (inferno) dies and he's in the real world, or so ive been told from youtube videos...

And apollo is in the real world to, thats why in the good apollo series of comics, the writer pets him in one panel, i know i saw that.

And messiah and crowning are the same thing, i just said messiah cuz ppl wouldnt know what a crowning is...

Claudio said in an interview about three years ago that he wanted to make a film after all the parts of the story are released. The one film coming out this spring/summer was not approved by Coheed and Cambria.. And the Armory Wars issue 1 was set out to come out this Feb. but has been pushed back to this summer and Warped is their big promotion time for it.

The entire Amory Wars series [formerly the Bag.On.Line Adventures of Coheed and Cambria] is just simply amazing! It continues to be one of my favorite comics, both in the richness of the storyline as well as Christopher Shy's art in Good Apollo. I was lucky enough to meet Claudio and Christopher at Comic-con, and i have a signed copy of Good Apollo!

the first album they released was A "Second Stage Turbine Blade". That is chapter two in the story. Next came "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3" that is chapter three. The last album they released was "Dear Apollo I am Burning Star IV; Vol 1 From Fear Through the Eyes of Maddness" which is the first part of the forth chapter. There is no chapter one album yet though.
