  • This guy definitely goes in my favorites, right next to Melvin Taylor. Fantastic tune.

  • mesmerizing, oustanding, awesome, amazing, stupendous, Blues guitar

  • 4 people have blues Devilles. ;) only guitar players will get this one

  • It's funny, even at maximum zoom you cannot see dislikes on this MASTERPIECE. What the fuck happens with that three noobs? :S Awesome once again, Mr. Bonamassa.

  • Wow...I just heard this song and instantly fell in love. Friggin amazing!

  • @UKRecordsTV I gotta agree that Mr Bonamassa is an awesome blues guitarist, but the best alive? not while a certain Buddy Guy is still with us, that dude is un-be-liev-able! he played with muddy in his hey day and taught hendrix a fair bit too. Check him out if you don't already know about this man!

  • @cmanners99 Understand my views are fuelled by what I listen to and what I like so in that sense, Buddy Guy may be the best to many other people. I think I have jumped into this discussion with some real blues connoisseur's who's knowledge of blues may well surpass mine ten times, however, the validity of my debate is solidified by my genuine belief in JB's ability to make the guitar sing and play blues better than I have personally heard.

  • I DONT KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT LOVE BABY

  • ROCK BLUES AND JACK DANIELS!!

  • This Song is more Like Blues Insane instead of Deluxe, What A SONG ! Just Perfect !

  • Fuck me runnin' this is makin' me cry the blues!

  • best alive blues guitarist at the moment..

  • @UKRecordsTV Youre from the UK and have never heard of Eric Clapton? You claim Bonamassa as superior?!?! SHAME on you, Brit.. Learn the blues for Christ's sake.

  • @ScreaminEagle1555 Course I know Clapton! And Clapton is great, however Ive always strongly believed that music taste is subjective and opinions are forged out of a subjective and very much biased view upon what sounds good to a particular individual. So I will say it again, best alive blues guitarist at the moment, in my opinion and if you dont agree with it, fair play :)

  • @ScreaminEagle1555 P.S. Suck my balls

  • Comment removed

  • @UKRecordsTV don't you realize we must all like what he likes and think as he thinks,,, NO independent thought... this guy got mad skills

  • @UKRecordsTV Are you a musician?

  • @ScreaminEagle1555 Kind of. Just generally a very opinionated person. In hindsight, that suck my balls comment was slightly aggressive and I wish not to divert this discussion from civility, so sorry.

  • cant get more macho than this

  • holy fuck dude, joe bonamassa is the new hendrix. compeletely. x12.

  • Beautiful!

  • legend for uploading this :::)))

  • Oh god thats better than having sex.

  • @Metayounis makes sex better

  • hey ashton63 he is has 12 Lp's 5 platinum...the rest gold..in the studio now...he is known and allover the tube..just sayin man...Joe is the next generation..i remember this dude at like 13 years old just tearin it up...born to be in the game is what i said..

  • @ltuomela "born to be in the game" He's put his blood, sweat and tears into perfecting his music. And he will not hesitate to let you know it. He is apparently very conceited and enjoys his high horse...

  • @ScreaminEagle1555 noooooo he is very cool dude..sent me a whole LP to my phone..great guy man..very down to earth...dont know where that came from, but he is far from conceited...

  • It's harder to figure out whether he plays better than he sings or otherwise... I personally believe he is so amazing on guitar that he gets a bit of a lead on that. Regardless, JB is so sick that it's really hard to appreciate all of the aspects that make him better than the credit he is actually given.

  • Man.. sad u don't find quality blues like this no more.. guy knows how to kill a guitar.. Joe Bluesmaster!

  • If you don't get chills listening to this song, you're not human.

  • AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I quit. Guitar = over.

  • my ears just came all inside my headphones :(

  • @birum18 its everywhere!

  • Please guys, stop comparing Mayer and Bonamassa. Each guy has its own charm. Mayer nailed "I don't need no doctor" and "Clarity" as much as Bonamassa pulled the shit outta "Blues Deluxe" and "The great flood"... Listen and shut up.

    Cool breeze ^^

  • I am long term Gary Moore fan, I heard Joe what a talented guy, His playing is very clean

  • I mean, this is like all the great blues musicians put together in one man.

  • enamooradaaa¡¡¡¡¡ ♥_♥

  • There's Good, There's Talented, There's Gifted and then Legendary. Then there's Joe.

  • Anyone who thinks john mayer is better than Joe needs to listen to this song john mayer couldn't do any part of the big solo

  • 0:04... is that you, Tom Riddle?

  • amazing!!!

  • 4 people have blues premium :P

  • @R4ND0MREVIEW5 Haha, one upgraded his blues account!

  • @chev202...How can you be so close minded? People who make good music do it because it comes from their soul. They aren't trying to prove that they are better than any body else. And I agree with EpictheEpicest...your comparisons are irrelevant. I'm positive you know way more about the blues than me...but for some reason you got a stick up your ass that probably has no right to be there in the first place.

  • And people try to say you gotta be black to sing and play good blues...psh. Damn this guy has some soul.

  • I dig this song man, keep rockin' brah.

  • people need to stop saying "omg that was an SRV lick" and listen up on some Albert King

  • @jedisjumphigh2 haha true true

  • @jedisjumphigh2 i know srv was tought for some time by albert king its amazing how much a like they both are

  • Świetna piosenka , znakomity klimat :) podoba mi sie :)

  • Why is he breaking my heart so cruelly?

  • @MarijaBlueBG Its the blues after all.

  • BB King and SRV put together

  • @koalminM Haha yeah, even in the singing, don't you think?!

  • oh shit this guy reminds me of bbking

  • bonamassacre never played with a group that featured some of the most talented musicians of their time. Max Middleton and Cozy Powell sure were'nt no slouches and lets not forget Clive Chaman on bass. If it were not for Jeff's creativity, imagination, and raw talent, then we would basically have been missed out on a whole nother sound and style. no one can ever duplicate his sound. they can TRY to duplicate his songs, but good luck if you think I'll like it, because my ears know better.

  • @chev202

man why are you so cruel ???

  • @chev202 self sufficient opinionated idiot....

  • Répondre à cette vidéo... self sufficient opinionated c...

  • ... 3 people will die .... simple... :D

  • LSD Show!!! :D

  • over exaggerated noise. another johnny lang, jeff healy, mixture of wanna bees. jeff beck and duane allman were the frontrunners and still are the best to me. bonamassacre is a better suited name. his style of playing is like a purple cadillac with big tires. glop!

  • @chev202 everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Everyone you mentioned is just not in the same category as joe bonamassa though except for jeff beck. You might be more of a straight blues guy I guess but even if you look at great blues players like hendrix, srv, buddy guy, etc you'll see the entire structure of this song is based on that, even the solo is like a straight copy of how their blues solos are structured, so in that way i don't really get how a fan of blues could dislike this.

  • @chev202 But you can't say he's bad. I mean I'm no huge fan of Joe Bonamassa but I give credit where credits due and that guy can play

  • @chev202 p.s dont critisize until your famous

  • @chev202 my god u are mad he is simply one of the best musicians and has more taste than jeff beck

  • @chev202 Yo dude I'm sorry I must have missed your last 4 or 5 records ! Last time I checked Joe B.s concert tix were 75 to 125 bucks! How much do people pay to listen to you ? Open your ears and close your mouth.

  • @chev202 lol chev if u honestly think the THE Joe Bonamassa is a "wanna be" then maybe u should try hitting the repeat button. And way to bring other great players like jeff healy and jonny lang into this, go hate somewhere else please.

  • I'd love to leave a comment, I really would. But my head seems to have exploded around 4:17.

  • 0:07 sounds like a SRV lick....

  • Wowwwwww, what a slammen song!

  • damn joe... you fucking great man.

  • love this song of blues brings back so much reflections of my life....l ♥ the soul of blues....

  • what the heck was he thinking? Stopping? Idiot! Keep on playing Joe! Never stop! haha @7:33

  • somehow , along the way I missed Joe Bonamassa. As a blues lover I really don't know how this happened but.....now I know. I've heard em all.I'm 69 and this guy is ..well I used to be in love with Stevie but I admit it I'm fickle I am in love again. in a word this guitarist is spectacular and that is not saying enough. Good God Sally!.

  • Wow. After that solo I don't think there's anything left of my brain.

  • This dude and John Mayer playing together... Now THAT would be a show...

  • how do you make your guitar sound like a violin?

  • @MrWildboy214

He probably learned this from Walter Trout. Not that he has much to learn from anybody.

  • @MrWildboy214 volume swells + delay pedal

  • Thumbs up just doesn't say enough. They need to come up with another button for ten toes and ten fingers.

  • Mind Blown.

  • 3 deaf people disliked this video.

  • Bottom jaw is missing.

  • wow so many replies! Thanks a lot everyone.

Yes I know it's not easy. I'm using software called Transcribe!, with which you can slow songs down, loop certain bits, etc.

  • I hear a lot of Clapton and BB King influence in the guitar

  • @31guitar dont forget S.R.V, i also hear some of him...

  • Så fedt.. det blir ikke bedre....

  • fucking amazing..what else can be said?

  • Woah, think my head just exploded from an Epicness overload!

  • he's like peter frampton+eric johnson+SRV+hendrix+gary moore all rolled into one.

  • now this is a guitarist

  • so ive just read that the song is in C... but wot kinda blues is this? anyone know? it doesnt sound like the 12 bar blues format, im not really sure how the chord changes go and stuff.

Any one with blues experience able to help?

  • @Tallguyalec it is 12 bar, bonamassa just plays around with the traditional 12 bar structure, but if you listen to the bass player he's playing a 12 bar rhythm.

  • Putain le mec il gueule dans un champ de coton :O

  • now the first notes do remind me of "since I've been lovin you" By Led Zeppelin

  • omg first time i heard this this guitar playing is amazing 4:00 to 5:13 just makes you go numb

  • thanks for the upload ashton63..love to listen to Joe!!

  • Rod Stewart's version kicks ass too. Thanks for posting.

  • holy shit, were is this guy in the charts?

type of music we need the whole damn world listening to

  • @myarse45

If you love the blues,He really is a Top Dog.

But the blues are not appreciated by the high rollers, sooo...He is in the back burner.

Joe was a guitar prodigy, at the age of 11 he was jamming with the Best. He really is an Old Soul.By the age of 12 Joe opened for Mr B B King. Joe is appx 33 yrs old, can you imagine his potential?

Mr B B King is appx 85 yrs old.

Many fantaztic blue guitarist are now gone, such as Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn,Freddie King,John Lee Hooker,Roy Buchanan

  • @myarse45

Sean Costello,Jeff Healley,Bo Diddley and other greats. This short list of guitar 'heroes' have left their legacy during the last ,appx 22 yrs. Thanks to TouTube we can still listen and admire their great music and singing.Sooo...If you really love the blues look up this guitar greats and look up contemporary blues greats, catch their act live and enjoy life. For some reason the blues seem better live than on records. Peace!

  • That song remember me Stevie Ray Vaughan's song Texas flood ... i like it!

  • TIA ...Jest coraz lepszy !!! Ale zagrywki lubi powtarzać

  • Comment removed

  • 4:11...........are you shitting me?

  • OMFG!! This is one of the best blues guitarists/singers (god can he sing too!) I've heard, and bear in mind my favorite guitarist is Stevie Ray Vaughan, which sets the bar pretty high... Absolutely amazing!!

  • Every time I hear the middle solo of this song I wet myself

  • AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTT!!!! DAMN RIGHT I GOT THE BLUES

GOING TO SEE HIM WITH MY MATES IN NEWCASTLE IN OCTOBER, ITS GONNA BE SWWEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTT!

  • AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW SHIIIIIIIIIIIT DAMN RIGHT I GOT THE BLUES!

  • Does anyone know how to make the slide noise 0:12? I'm trying to learn this by ear...

  • @mattbonann I don't know, I'm just learning guitar myself. But try checking out Ultimate-Guitars. They have really helped me out so far

  • @Ashton63 just hit the pic at the 12 frink on the liast three strings and slide down

  • @Ashton63 don't ever take tabs from that website. one of my mates uni classes focuses on notating music and when they looked at ultamiteguitar and guitar tab universe and 911 tabs and about 90% of them are just wrong. its worth alot more if you take the time to learn the distance between all the notes in the major scale.

pm me if you want me to tell you a brill site that will teach it to you fast and effectively

  • @Ashton63 same here :)

  • @mattbonann u give a vibrato of the note and then slide ur hands on the fretboard

  • @mattbonann According to the Blues Deluxe music book I have it is a 2 string slide, slide them down towards the nut fast and it makes that sound

    ----

    ----/13

    ----/12

    ----

    ----

    ----

  • @mattbonann isn't it just a simple slide ?

  • @mattbonann its a sort of half fret hand mute that you hit with your pick and slide your hand down, best i can really describe it lol

  • @mattbonann Probably a slide from some of the higher frets, depending on the key on the b and e strings

  • @mattbonann the slide noise is 12 on the G string and 13 on the B string then just slide down real fast

  • @mattbonann

yeah. the song is in C so take the C pentatonic from the 13th fret on the A string. play the 13th fret on the D and G sting and slide down. hit the strings hard.

  • @mattbonann nothing to learn really, just fret top 2 / 3 strings anywhere past 12th fret, hit them all and slide em all down

  • @mattbonann uh yeah, you have a slide haha

  • @mattbonann its called a les paul with a good valve amp, and the use of vibrato. strong fingers.

  • @mattbonann just use ur palm, mute the strings up on the neck and press it as hard as u can. and strum all the strings as you move down the neck

  • @mattbonann I believe he is just hitting and holding down G, B, E with his index finger on the 10th fret, and sliding a couple of frets up. Works for me anyways. But this is the blues, just feel it and whatever works best for you will do! Hope you work it out! Best regards

  • @mattbonann Its a Muted quick slide release . strike the 1, 2, 3, strings together and barred across the same fret > almost simultaneously but ever so slightly after , release pressure on your finger to form a left hand string mute index finger barred ) your right hand palm should be lightly muting over the bridge for control . After striking the string then releasing to a mute then slide down the desired number of frets .

  • @mattbonann

Just grab 3 or 4 strings of that chord and yank your hand down the neck. Easy ! !

  • @mattbonann Hit a note around the 12th fret and slide down, releasing pressure as you go. Hope that helped.

  • @mattbonann Actually, hit about 3 notes at once and slide down.

  • @mattbonann he plays with the volume knob, look at the live version.

  • @mattbonann dont know if ur still intersted as u posted this so long ago but its a slide on the 13th fret of the b string and the 12th on the g simultaneously. ps this is not the easiest tune to learn by ear expect to be frustrated!

  • @mattbonann he's just sliding his hand down the fret board from the note he was on

  • @mattbonann well, really he's just sliding his hand down the string without any pressure...its tricky in this situation because he has a high gain tone which he is controlling with his guitar's volume knob so its clean, but when he does that slide down he cranks the volume to get all the gain and get that beefy sounding tone, then back down with the volume knob for more clean tastiness :D hope that helps.

  • @mattbonann Just quickly pull down along two strings, fingered at a minor third I believe.

  • @mattbonann You just slide down from the 12th fret E string and absolutely smash the note (Possibly bar the A string aswell)

  • @mattbonann vibrato

  • @mattbonann dnt know if u know it bye now but its a scale (not sure which one) you go up a couple of frets on the high E string n bend away. :) i worked the rest of the scale out by ear.

  • @mattbonann Hes just sliding down the neck from that note

  • @mattbonann its just a bend but plucked with a finger not a pick. try grabbing the string and popping it with your ring finger while sharply and quickly doing a full step bend, its on the high e string 15th fret

  • @mattbonann its just a bend but plucked with a finger not a pick. try grabbing the string and popping it with your ring finger while sharply and quickly doing a full step bend, its on the high e string 15th fret. that squacky slide sound is all in the timing u gotta pop it at the exact time ur doin the bend

  • @mattbonann pretty much all you do, is find a high fret, and then slide from there down to the first fret, its kinda hard to explain, but once you get the right speed, youll understand.

  • @mattbonann pretty sure thats just string bending man. a whole and a half step up

  • @mattbonann

13th fret on the b string + 12 on the g string, slide down

  • Sigh!!!!!

  • This is the best song I've ever heard. Ever.

  • Volume control is legendary, one of the tightest power trios ever. Eric Z with good old kenny on drums... LEGENDS. With possibly the best new blues sensation to come along in a long time on guitar! :D. Hopefully this is a sign of music to come! :D

  • From 3:58 to 5:20 .... PURE EAR-GASM ! BETTER THAN SEX !

  • @terzolilu I have to agree! :)

  • @terzolilu sorry about your sex life!! but hell yeah! ear-gasms all day long!! this guy is unique!! old soul voice and flawless straight to the point chops. rare!!

  • @terzolilu I totally agree !!

  • @terzolilu totally agree! :D

  • @terzolilu: THANK YOU.. that about nails it. :> Ohhhhhhhhh so good!

  • @terzolilu Ear-gasm one after another... great!!

  • .... correction pure eargasm 0:00 - 7:33 .....

  • 4:11 WOW! What the heck is he doing?

  • @thereaflashgordon I KNOW! He is one of the most amazing guitar players alive!! Well, maybe that's an opinion. But he is definitely one of the greatest to come along since Hendrix or Stevie Ray, I think.

  • @Ashton63 how about Tinsley Ellis?

  • @thereaflashgordon I reckon it's 18/15 on high E with a quick hammer on/pull off then 18/16 on B, to 17 on G then back up the way you came down, repeat again a few times with lot's of conviction. I'm not kidding or being smart, I just think that's what he's doing. Amazing player.

  • @thereaflashgordon Thats when the cocaine kicked in I presume. xD

  • @thereaflashgordon In which part?
