  • I saw them live at Kulturmejeriet in Sweden at the end of the 90´s. Awesome live performance! They where unknown and are still unknown in Sweden.

  • There is a much funkier electric version of this that came out in about '91 or '92. It's based around the fender rhodes vamp from James Mason's "Slick City" (search for it) and a killer bass riff by Nemo Jones. Will have to upload it some time...

  • This song is raw, rugged, and powerful ! I loved this album so much, that I bought two copies of it when it came out ! The music reminds of the great 1970's film soundtracks !

  • Agree. I always thought they should have been much, much bigger.

Still. We can at least be smug that we heard them first...

  • Superb band , was lucky enough to see them play a rare free gig in Leeds in the late 90's, my brother and i were really into them at the time with all the Steely Dan influences they were a perfect music machine ! The album is GOLD ! with Fagen and Bernard Purdie how can you go wrong ? I would pay good money to see them re form, such a shame they split as i think they would have gone on to bigger and greater things...

  • I bought this album twice! It was very very good! This group should have been popular. They were one of the rare groups with a horn section. This song is retro 1970's sound that was ahead of it's time. Today, artists such as Alicia Keys, Angie Stone and Jaheim strike gold with the retro style.
