Does anyone ever suppose that Chell WAS adopted by Caroline even though Cave was to busy?Cave probably didn't care because he was so busy with Aperture, and when Caroline went into GLaDOS, Chell was adopted by another scientist at Aperture. That's just one of my ideas that would explain why she constantly calls Chell an orphan.
