now that is some weak ass damage. go and look at "Trial and Error vs. Magtheridon" another boomkin pov. now thats damage you will see in that clip. this is rather boring.

ok.. ill say it again just so you idiots will stop posting shit like this. Yes it was weak damage because I had over 400 arcane resist and only like 300 +dmg. The whole point of that fight is keeping him off melee classes and keep him casting at me.

I dont switch out any of my gear and I only get hit once or twice for the whole fight. The trick is he slowly moves toward you as your fighting. Just move back a couple of steps everyonce in a while because the blast range is 30 yds.

My guild went to gruuls three times before I realized they were using two hunters only because of polymorph, I said Im immune and Ive been tanking him since.

Also when Im tanking him I have about 12000 mana with buffs and ~1000 bonus damage. By the time the rest of the raid gets the healer down and the tank comes over I normally have him down to 70% or less of his life and well over 100K threat. Badge gear ftw!

Put your back against a wall and you won't get knocked back. Its not just inconvenient, your agro gets wiped when that happens, so he'll start sheeping healers!!

I'm pretty sure he was concentrating mainly on Armor and Stamina when tanking :) but thats only a guess..

Nah its like 300 arcane resist for the arcane blast knockback. I only got hit by it like 2 times i think and thats what caused me to drop agro. My +spell dmg was like 100 or something pitiful like that.

I didnt really care about getting the big numbers on that fight I just had a fukin blast tanking the bitch :)

I am my guilds tank on that guy and im a moonkin, when i get knocked back i just run straight to him and spam moonfire and bom i get him on 80% before the others come and kill him.

ok find another class that can hold agro better... druids are the only ones that are (when in moonkin form) able to resist polymorph. Also I have around 300 arcane resists to resist the knockbacks, which is why i go oom so fast. So you get a druid to do what i did or you take 2-3 tanks (or hunters) to rotate agro. Then that takes away from dps that could be going on other bosses. Like i said this was our first successful killing of him, so cut us some slack eh? Ive gotten much better :P
