Yes, I am a guitar player. Been one for 18 years. Started at 16, was teaching at 19. Short listed for Ozzy in the early 90s when Zakk left, toured Europe as a session player and can play you into the ground in my sleep.

Caro Raffaele,la smorzatura del suono di cui parli,il poco sustain, è l'ultimo dei problemi. Si vede che la passione c'è, ma manca del tutto la tecnica, anche le basi,l'impostazione delle mani, la plettrata. Se posso permettermi un consiglio, vai a studiare da qualcuno, vedrai che ti si aprirà un mondo. Se mi dici da che parte stai posso consigliarti qualche amico didatta molto bravo. Studia con uno bravo,è l'unica maniera per crescere,e ascolta tanta buona musica. In bocca al lupo!

Maybe it's true, my attitude is basically for live performances, but this is my way to play when I'm in front of a camera! :-) This "Top Gun Theme" it's not just a cover, it's my version of this song, very different by the original. but my last comment is of course only the opinion of someone who has no idea of the technical issues of guitar play. i can only say what sounds good and what does not. it looks to me that your technique is absolutely flawless.

i like you version very much. but i think it is too much coltish (correct english?). in the first sections the song is rather straight forward but you use these "effects" at 1:11 and use them too often until the end especially in the solo. until 1:00 it is 100% perfect. I have the impression that you do not play the song for a audio CD, but for a live performance. For only listening: less effects is sometimes better.

My favourite version is leozbh's on youtube. His solo is perfect (imo).
