Shotguns are way more accurate than most people give them credit for. A 12-gauge shotgun with 00 Buckshot is one of the most devastating small arms on the planet. And I wouldn't want to be on the other side of one, at any distance.

I'd only start to feel a bit more comfortable outside 400-500 yds...

A good camera may be able to record the sound though. Holly wood movies is not the real sound.

I always played CoD and the M1 had such a lovely sound, but in real life it's so much different. The M1 Garand is very loud lol.

just like BoB: Series isn't the real sound too. They shot with blank firing but I believe they added a sound effect to it too.

are you refuring to the noise from the rounds impacting the steel plates downrange? the "plinking" noise? if not it could simply be the wind muffleing it or the camera not cathing the high decible spikes properly. (they were also shooting alot of .22 LR rounds, in both pistol and long rifle platforms)
